2012 memories
This is a list of things that happened in 2012 that were good memories for me and some things I just want to remember :) - My friend Pamela's birthday party. - My friend Jennifer's birthday party. - My volleyball team went to the provincial tournament in Hamilton and we finished 2nd. - Got my new room. Bigger and prettier - Deciding and getting the confirmation on my exchange to England (which I am leaving in 21 days for this!!! :D) - Getting my G1s - CANADA DAY!! - Virginia Beach - Smoking weed/my first joint - Getting a job - Cutting 9 inches of my hair to give to cancer - My friend Phil's gathering. - Gatherings at my place. Once with my friend Brea that lives in Poland. Another time was one of my best friends first time getting drunk. And another time was with my closest guy and girl friends :) - Receiving my host family for my exchange - Wisdom teeth removal - NEW YEARS EVE!!! 👠😘🎉🎊

2012 in Review
2012 was one of those years that had incredible moments and some of the worst times of my entire life, however, life goes on and all we can do is learn from the bad and hug the good. So, here goes!
I started off the year by making good new Mexican friends in Austin (sadly a rarity for me).
Shot my first short film in 35mm film.
Dated a nice girl.
Worked South by South West, getting to watch a bunch of movies and making great connections as well as friends.
Directed Mexican-heavy short films to show my love for me country.
Managed to make a great short film praised by the professor who first told me not to make it.
Got elected as president of the University Filmmakers Alliance (UFA), one of my favorite activities in college.
Survived the Community hiatus.
Went to New York!
Met Patrick J. Adams!
I mean, there's just so much New York to add to this list... Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Building, Empire State, hanging out with Austin friends in New York...
Grew my hair longest than it had ever been.
Cut my hair the shortest that it had been in years.
Went to Monterrey for the first time.
Directed a film with a studio setup.
Learned who my real friends are.
Worked the Austin Film Festival and met some of the friends that would keep me alive during the semester.
Met Damon Lindelof!
Got featured in the Daily Texan for being the president of UFA.
Got incredibly obsessed with Community... I saw every season thrice...
Got to be a model for a vampire photo-set for the Daily Texan.
Got cast to play a homeless man in a feature film.
Freaking dyed my hair white... well, actually freakishly blonde. (Semi-accomplished a dream I've had for over ten years).
Dyed my hair black... well, actually blue steel.
Shaved my head, something I've been wanting to do for years. Although it was really weird...
Saw some of my best friends graduate from college, which was excitingly terrifying.
I got a job offer from the IMAX theaters of Austin.
And now I'm getting ready to road trip to LA to CommuniCon. But that'll be a major part of my 2013 list.
May 2013 be a great one! Last semester of college!
