This whole 1st quarter of 2017 was messy af and here's where the debunk thread from an anti I previously mentioned comes into play.

As I said in Part 1, "Since I don't have a full reference of what had transpired during that period, I decided to take on the responsibility of collating information across the internet, including this account's own debunks for transparency."

I will piece things together from the beginning of the year to have a clearer view of the timeline.

Debunk Claims

Important: These were all from the debunk thread. OP's original handle can no longer be searched on IG. I'm not sure who contacted them back then as well. With a grain of salt, as always.

ON LARRIES SAYING THE MAR 2017 PHOTOS ALIGNED WITH H'S STAY IN JAMAICA (as stated in the circulating Jamaica Photo Timeline); AND THAT THE PHOTO WAS RELEASED IN OCT 2017.

TL;DR: Apparently, the OP claimed that the photo was taken on 1 Mar and posted on 5 Mar, as opposed to what larries knew (Oct 2017).

RESPONSES:

1.) Extra take about the anti's claim ("this girl confessed to seeing Louis and el making out"):

If we're looking into the actual words used in the convo with OP, the question was to confirm a couple of things. 1.) Did she actually see L and E? 2.) Making out? 3.) Walking? ETCETERA?

And looking into OP's answer, it was quite vague. She basically just said that she DID. But what was she confirming though? Was it that she did see them together? While they were walking around? Did she actually saw them make out? Or was it just assumed? (I'm not saying they weren't; they probably did tbh, knowing people would see and they needed them to - for that stunt).

2.) @twopoppies' post on Aug 2021 clearly stating that these were just rumors (THEORY) and that it was openly discussed that H was probably not there. | x

3.) And based on the timeline I've consolidated, it is possible that H was not there during L and E's getaway stunt in Jamaica. Could even be damage control thing considering how media outlets like Yahoo UK could easily piece things together (if an info of H&L being together in Jamaica ever leaked).

Harry on vacation.

TL:DR; The receipt of T Blair about Larry being together at that period. There is a possible debunk claim about his receipt I added below (huge grain of salt as per usual). Nonetheless, they could still have been together given the simultaneous MIA period.

H and L both went MIA on 28 Jan (Louis had been ski-ing with Eleanor previously and Harry had been in LA and also got the anchor tattoo) and were not seen again until 5/6 Feb.

Harry went to Jamaica for a family vacation as reported on 7 Feb. | x

There was a photo of him at the Norman Manley International Airport reposted by a UA from a fan on 7 Feb. | x

It was confirmed that James (Corden) and Gary (Barlow) were there. | x

Later on, it was mentioned by James that he first met Jeff (Azoff) in Jamaica. It was assumed that it was around this time.

“In keeping with our intentions to be fair and present all sides of the situation as we see them - it has been brought to our attention by a valid source that the now-defunct blog that tblair commented on was run by someone who believed Harry and Louis were together at the time. The person who wrote the blog would at times create different aliases to comment on their own stories to generate traffic. Therefore, we do not stand behind the comments of tblair and believe “his” account of the situation was likely fiction. Whether or not H/L went to Jamaica together is up to everyone else’s interpretation/speculation.

Note: The larrienotlarrie account has already deactivated and I have no prior information about the content and credibility of the blog’s contents. Though this is the first seemingly larrie-centered blog I’ve seen that provided this possible debunk.

I don’t think we’ll ever know. My guess is that Simon lead them to think they were going to be allowed to come out, but never really intended to follow through. He possibly used the reaction to Zayn leaving as a reason to stall/change his mind.

Babygate was already in the works and some people thought it was originally intended to raise Louis’ profile and then be denied. But obviously that didn’t happen and it became pretty clear (at least IMO) that that it was used to punish Louis and hurt/control Harry.

The whole build up to coming out and then having Zayn leave, the coming out rug pulled out from under us, and then babygate and hiatus dropped on top of it was devastating to the fandom (and to HL, as well, I’m sure).

Most of 2014 and the very beginning of 2015 was one big sign. It was absolutely wild around here.
