What are your favourite imagines written this past year? Both smut and fluff?

oh um, there are so many. but to name a few :

from fluff’s and sort of angst:

• Comets - Kai shows up in the middle of the night at reader’s house and they go to see a passing comet. • First Kiss  - Part II - Reader saves Kai’s life and he can’t stop thinking about her afterwards. • Do You Remember ? - Kai and Reader break up and their post break up relationship is rocky until they find a way back to each other. •  I Missed That Smile - Reader breaks up with her boyfriend and Kai is there for her , in a way she didn’t expect.• Little Things - Reader has a bad social anxiety and Kai helps her out of her shell. • Roomies - Reader and Kai live together ; Reader has feelings for him and one day Kai brings home a girl.• Our Daughter - Part II - Reader and Kai have a child together.• You Came After Me - Reader goes searching for Kai in the woods during full moon.•  Little Gilbert  -Reader is Elena’s little sister and the Salvatore’s are over protective of her. Kai ends up staying at the Salvatore’s over night and sneaks into her room.  •  You Die, I Die -Part II - The MF gang is facing an old enemy, who has a grudge against Reader. Kai, who is her best friend, is there with her when things go sideways. •  Happier - based on the song ‘Happier’ by Ed Sheeran •  Lost -Part II - Part III - Part IV - Kai is trapped at the Armoury when he gets a surprise visitor. angst / dad!kai feels •  Loved - Reader’s parents are giving her hard time /treating her like trash and Kai makes her feel better/loved. •  I Believe In You - Kai fights the siren’s mind control because of his feelings for Reader. .• Truth or Dare - Reader and Kai both live in at the Salvatore Boarding House and he keeps playing pranks on her, specially when her friends are around, and one night after a get-together they play ‘Truth or Dare’ until somehow every turn starts involving the two of them.•    A Bird In A Gilded Cage - Reader (has dreams/feelings about the future) tags along with Kai on the trip to the 1903 Prison World..•  Little Sister (ft. Damon / Stefan Salvatore) - Damon hurts reader when his humanity is off and Kai comforts her.. • White Christmas It’s Christmas Eve, though Reader won’t get to spend it like she had expected. | + the prequel Clock Tower. 

• Let It Snow continues the story from Clock Tower / White Christmas. •  Mistakes - Part II - Kai comes over to Reader’s house with a very important question about their future, when things take an unexpected turn.

•  Magic Fingers (a prequel of sorts to ’Don’t Let Me Go’)• Thunderstorms - Reader is afraid of Thunderstorms and Kai sees that a big storm is coming and rushes to her place worried because of a blackout.•  No Touching - Part II - Part III  - Kai get’s injured and get’s horny so Reader has to ‘take care’ of him.•  Feed On Me - Kai and Reader are best friends. After the transition Kai finds himself wanting to bite her , feed on her and … •  Friends With Benefits - Reader and Kai are friends with benefits.•  Fuck Away The Pain - (based on the song ‘’Fuck Away The Pain” by Divide The Day)•  Fast Friends  - Reader meets Kai at the Salvatore’s and he teases her with magic. •  EX’s and OH’s [threesome smut] (ft. Kol Mikaelson) Kai and Reader are a couple and then out of the blue Kol (her ex) shows up after he comes back to life•  Handcuffs [smut]  - Kai handcuffs himself to Reader to get her to admit she feels something for him, and things happen. •  Let’s Ruin the Friendship [smut] - Kai and Reader are roommates and secretly both of them have a crush on each other but neither of them does anything until one day something happens everything changes. •  Awwh, am I being punished ? - Reader punishing Kai.•  Don’t Challenge Me (a bit of a sequel to Roommates ) •  If You Want It - Take It [smut] - Reader is sent to the Prison World where Kai is but doesn’t know she is not alone until one day they meet accidentally and move in together @ the Salvatores.

yeah, so those are the ones that first came to mind :)  but really, every story i’ve written this past year has a piece of my heart and soul poured into it and i really love every single one of them. ❤❤❤

2017 Favourites - Decor

This was a really hard category to choose for. I enjoyed decorating so much this year, the creative energy for it just kept coming. The new challenge now with Brightmaple is working within a non-cheat budget for decorating, which means doing with limited resources and amending the decor as I go and my Sims earn more money. It should be a lot of fun!

Since 2017 is coming to a close, I figured it would be a good time to talk about my favourite books I read in 2017. Specifically, I'm going to talk about my top 5.  It’s always so hard to narrow down my favourite books because I read so many amazing ones. 

Number 5:

Once and For All by Sarah Dessen 

Sarah Dessen books are always a must read for me. While the plot of her novels are relatively similar, I have always enjoyed the seemless ease that comes along with reading her books. Once and For All was the perfect summer contemporary I needed to read this year. I thoroughly enjoyed the main character and the natural guard that she has towards relationships.  This combined with her work, made for an enjoyable read! 

Number 4:

The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall

The Conspiracy of Us was a perfect mixture of action, adventure and romance.  I found myself in need of an adventure story that didn’t require an insane amount of focus and attention on my part. This book was the perfect match. It’s suspenseful and thrilling while engaging and fast-paced. I’ve read the sequel and am really looking forward to reading the last book soon!

Number 3:

Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham

As a huge fan of Gilmore Girls, this was a must read for me. It sat on my TBR list for a while and I finally got around to reading it this year. I devoured it in one sitting and absolutely loved Graham’s charming and witty humour.  Her ability to recount her own stories was engaging and filled with love.  I especially loved her entries about the filming of the new Gilmore Girls reboot. It’s wonderful to hear her love of a character that I hold dear to my heart. 

Number 2:

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

Cassandra Clare is definitely one of my favourite authors. Behind JK Rowling, she is a close second. I have to read all of her books and to date, I have never been disappointed. Lady Midnight was a really slow start for me. I struggled to get into it and as a fan, I was shocked that I may have been looming on my first Cassandra Clare novel that just didn’t grab me. Thankfully, I was corrected and ended up LOVING it. I can’t wait to read Lord of Shadows (I know I’m behind on that too ... oops!). 

Number 1:

Caraval by Stephanie Garber 

Oh Caraval, how I love you. This book was everything I wanted it to be and more. I can’t even begin to explain how perfect this book was. I cannot wait to read Legendary in 2018!

2017 Favourites - Live Mode

I love seeing people’s compilations of their favourite pics from the game over the past year. I was going to use that app or whatever that finds your most popular posts, but it was mostly CC ones, and I wanted to go through and pick my personal favourites! Since I played it so very much this year, when I walked down memory lane looking through my pics, I had a really hard time narrowing it down... so I didn’t!

I broke it down into a few categories, and even then it was tough and I left out so many. Here’s just some of my favourite Sim moments this year. :)
