Baby, How do I Look?

Description: You see Han Jisung on the way to JYPE. Based off of “Hoodie Season” by 3RACHA

Word count: 501

Pairing: Jisung x reader

You see him when you came out of the convenience store. One of his hands rest on the strap of his bag, probably on his way to the studio. On him is an yellow hoodie that makes him blend in with the setting sun. He seems to notice the sky too and looks up just as a gust of wind tries to steal his white cap. He presses the accessory against his head and continues to stare in awe of the beauty of the sky with his lips slightly parted. 

His shoes shuffle as he shifts his bag’s weight around. You chuckle in wonder of how he can afford such new brand-name shoes as a trainee, but get distracted by his shoulder line. It’s grown so much since you first met him two years ago; he has probably been working out under the influence of his hyung, Bang Chan.

You snap out of your trance when he stuffs his hands inside his pocket and starts walking again.

“Jisung!” 

He turns to see who called him and immediately smiles at your running form.

You quickly fall into pace with him and reach into your grocery bag and hand him his favorite pink lollipop.

He takes it with a thanks and reaches for your bag to carry it for you. “Shopping for snacks again?” he questions with a smirk and a raise of an eyebrow.

“A hoodie again?” you return.

He takes a few quick steps to face you while walking backwards. “Baby, how do I look?”

You know he’s just teasing, but you wonder if he realizes how those endearing terms make you feel. 

You roll your eyes and give him a gentle shove. He laughs and goes back to walking next to you, this time slinging his arm around your shoulder and causing your and his steps to fumble at the unusual weight distribution. 

Just then, another gust of wind sends leaves and dust particles flying your way. You stop walking and put your hands up to cover your face, but Jisung twists your torso to bury your head into his chest, effectively shielding your eyes from alien allergens. You let out a sigh, relishing in these rare moments where you can be alone with him and letting his scent engulf you and your conscience. 

But the moment ends as quickly as it started. Jisung helps you straighten up and the two of you begin walking again.

“Thanks,” you mumble, trying to hide your blush from what just happened.

Jisung chuckles softly and helps pick some leaves out of your hair. “Come on. Let’s hurry and I’ll get you a visitor’s pass into JYP so you can see your boyfriend.”

Your head snaps up at the mention of your supposed significant other. You see that Jisung is smiling softly down at you as he continues grooming your hair for more pesky leaves, and a part of you breaks. 

You really hope he’d be referring to himself one day when he says that.
