1) Nothing is ever universal, humans are too complex for that. Instead of invalidating others, appreciate someone else's truth, while you live yours.
2) Assume the best in others, but prepare for the worst
3) If he likes you, he’ll make the effort, so take it all for face value.
4) its not always that deep
5) If you get to know your mom like a person, your relationship will get better
6) Call it abuse, even if its culturally normalized
7) Life is shit. But it always has been, and it always will be, so dont take it so personally.
8) Be cognizant of how much youre giving and how much youre getting in every relationship.
9) You dont always have to say whats on your mind
10) Not everyone deserves to know all of you, so be a little mysterious.
11) Dont sleep with him on the first date, its never a good idea
12) Drink to enjoy. If you dont like it, dont drink it. And fucking slow down.
13) Your mind, soul and body are all different entities. Treat each other kindly, youre a team
14) Be kind to yourself. Practice gratefulness and forgiveness everyday.
15) Allowing yourself to write w/ no limits is an incredibly freeing experience
16) Happiness doesn't come from one source, but a combination of factors. Cherish moments for all that they are.

18) You cant make everyone happy, so just do you and you’ll attract the right crowd to complement your existence.
