Most of the episode was about making sure the furry guy doesn't go full yiff mode by accident which isn't what I expected but I suppose it's something to get it out of the way earlier. Animation felt pretty cheap this episode but the drawings are still lovely so hey we vibe.

This was a weird episode structurally, because it 'ends' in a big twist but said ending is like 17 minutes into the episode, followed by a lengthy comic scene between Miko and Hinako. You'd think they'd do the cliffhanger then the ED then the comic scene, but actually it's a unique ED this time as well with a Miko character song (and a sick illustration by Ai Fairouz herself btw!) so in that sense leaving the special ED for last makes more sense? Idk. I think it hurt the pacing of the episode a little bit approaching it like this though. But that big twist is certainly interesting - suppose long term if Miko just stays human there might not be loads you can do with her that isn't just Shiori jealousy, so this development I didn't see coming at all is a little more interesting. I'm hoping we're not about to lose Miko this early on thanks to her now very violent conflict with Shiori, but we'll see.

I can't believe this fucking mafia family plot is still going. At the very least it seems like it should end at the start or at least first half of next episode before we move onto something else, but my god what a waste of time in what should otherwise be an interesting setting.
