Hello! Just curious out of all the love interest, why did you choose Gavin?

But seriously, I can talk and talk and talk about your question: Why Gavin?
Although I have so many reasons as to why, it has never been "why Gavin out of all the love interest", because for me it is actually "MLQC, because Gavin is in it".
Last summer, I was boring myself at home around these days as I became aware of the anime "Koi to Producer". The first ever thing that caught my eye was Gavin... In this poster:
LuLu and Vicky are looking ordinary and Kiro looks like an assassin. But Gav babe, with his uniform, shiny hair and his amber eyes. Wow, that's male lead aura alright 👀 (I'm sooo watching this!)
Right at that moment, I've decided to watch the Anime and then play the game. The more I got to know him, the bigger my love grew for Gavin.
As to why him... The shortest answer I can come up with is:
"From a dark amber inferno, rises wild vanilla and hints of bloom"
(its from a soap commercial, but that's Gavin in a nutshell🐶)

His character
Gavin has one of a kind character which is almost impossible to find irl.
He is charming, confident, determined, compassionate, loyal, stoic, rational, intelligent, talented and passionate.
If you read his story, you realize that he is surrounded by people inspired by him and swear with their lives to follow him. This is not because he demands them to so so, but because his determination and sharpness alongside with him not giving a damn about what the system tells him to do, makes him magnetic and bestows him a strong charisma. Thus attracting people to him. People follow his lead willingly because of that.
Gavin shows an unbreakable compassion towards other people's pain and demise. Even towards his enemies as he did with Josie. Gavin is highly emphatic and can see things from his counterparts perspective. He is also relentlessly altruistic, meaning he puts the safety of others before him. And that's not only for MC, for everyone who is in need. That guy has such a big, generous heart. One just needs to read his story.
This might be overlooked very easily, but Gavin is a very capable guy who excels in anything he does (except for taking care of his plants but nobody's perfect lol). Once he decides on something, he never ever gives up and dedicates himself completely into the challenge at hand. He is the most determined guy among all in the MLQC universe. *ehm also with the highest stamina
Despite being a compassionate, sensitive guy deep inside, Gavin is well trained in seeing things at face value and make rational decisions in the blink of an eye during life and death situations. It comes across so often in the game that Gavin has to make swift decisions that will determine the faith of others. His strategic mind and the ability to observe his surroundings is superb. If you see how he evacuates a collapsing bridge or saves the whole city in S2 you know what I mean. Gavin is a born leader.
Gavin is a Leo, and he is a stereotypical Leo man. Whatever he does, he does it with passion. Doesn't matter if it's modifying his motorcycle or watering his plants or applying nail polish to his girlfriends nails. He is all-in and laser focused. There are no halfway engagements with him. Surely he performs a class in everything, regardless if it's something he is trying for the first time or something that he's been training for a long time (again, not with his plants r.i.p. Greenie, Thorny and little Greenie).
It takes a lot of effort for someone to belong to Gavins inner circle. But once it's achieved, Gavin's loyalty is for a lifetime and beyond. He will go with you to the moon and back, endure the hell with you and even risk his life for you (as seen in Hell mission).
It's true that he is a traditional masculine guy in some aspects of his handling. But actually Gavin is a modern husband material. He gives his full support to you in taking on whatever challenges. He never tries to interwene with your decisions or to control you. He allows you to enter his world and do his "masculine" tasks with him, but also enters your "feminine" world and goes shopping with you, applies make up on you etc. He is jealous, but he never ever shows is in an aggressive way. Most importantly he is never ever aggressive with you. He doesn't raise his tone with you or use a rude wording. Gavin respects you in all areas. His life is attuned to you. "You're his start all and end all"
Needless to say I like this part of him the most when he is intimate with MC and I tell you anon, his undivided attention is not everyone's cup of tea. But I welcome and savor it ❤️
His ideals
He might be a stoic person, but at his core he is an idealistic man with a solid understanding of justice.
Gavin is giving his all for a world where everyone's safe and treated justly. This guy cannot stand seeing anyone being bullied mistreated. He cares about people so much.
Gavin even goes against those closest to him for his ideals. You can read it the best in S1 CH15. Unfortunately I can't talk more into this without uncovering major plot points so I'll just leave it here.
His passion
I've mentioned about his briefly above. What draws me to Gavin the most is his passion.
It's a riddle how come he can be so serious, cold and intimidating from the outside and so sensual and passionate from the inside. Nonetheless, that he is.
At the beginning of the story, Gavin is holding himself back a lot, is serious and has a "don't come closer or..." kind of an aura. So what kind of a treasure lies behind this hard shell is only for the brave to explore.
When his outer shell is trespassed though...an endless warmth awaits you. Warm hugs, sweet genuine words, a devoted partner and an unpredictable intimacy. This guy can go from 0 to 100 km in a nanosecond! You might do all you want, flirt with him all you want, provoke him as long as you like. He moves when he moves. And when he decides to move and take the reins in his hands, you don't even realize what's hit you. Gavin is so unpredictable in that sense that I just love it! In that sense, he actually doesn't need his Evol to skyrocket you up to the Galaxy, he can do it without ever moving an inch.
Many claim that he has two gears: shying away and holding back OR going in for the kill. There is no middle gear. So it's either you're craving for his affection or don't know if you are up to par with him. Either way, it's passion galore with this guy. But be warned, the unfettered Gavin is really hard to handle, both figuratively and literally (I shall stop here in case you're a minor nonny 🚫)
What I'm trying to say is, Gavin's intimacy is the most enjoyable and hearttrobbing one in my opinion, because you never know what is the hat he's wearing any day (unlike Lucien who is always ready to go, our Skorpio man).
But then again, it fits his astrological sign. Because Skorpios, Tauruses, Aries and Leo's are the men with the highest sex drive in the zodiac. By the way that list includes three of our guys ;)
His apperance
Yes, the character of a person is what lasts forever and is the most important aspect for a relationship. But when you meet someone for the first time, you can't see this person's character but their appearance and that's what gives you the first impression. So even though it's not everything, the looks matter. And oh Gavin looks soooooo gooooood!
For my taste, Gavin has the perfect ratio and also the perfect combination of colors. His facial features are well proportioned with beautiful eyes, upward curving nose, thin but well shaped lips and a chiseled jawline.
I really like his chestnut colored hair he washes everyday and is always soft, but also his amber eyes that have the ability to throw you an icy glare or a blazing gaze. Gavin has the most beautiful, lyrical eyes if you ask me.
About his body...* Sighs... I'll leave you with this:
He has by far the best trained and athletic body! I wouldn't even start comparing it with the other LIs. They are lagging way behind Gavin's champion body. He has long legs, broad shoulders, strong arms and concrete abs. Just, yummy!

When you intend to start a playthrough with the strict, angsty guy as your LI then the nice guy flashes you this smile...
When I downloaded that wonderful visual novel, Andromeda Six, my mind is all set on chasing the hunky Captain Calderon. I planned on doing June’s route around my third playthrough (first with Calderon, then Damon, and then June) because, I admit, I have a thing for unlacing straight-laced, über serious guys hehehe. I kind of saw June as an adorable guy next door who moonlights as your foster big brother; and while I find him intriguing, I’m more inclined towards the captain and his second in command.
That is.... until I started the playing.
And the first guy that you’ll meet is him.
And my curious, mischievous ass can’t help but pick the flirty reply options.
That laugh and flirty smile got me off guard. I was like “DAMMNNNN... This guy isn’t soo innocent after all!” My otome senses started tingling. This nice man right before me is most probably a beast in the sheets!
His kind, brotherly demeanor warms the heart but when he did that and subtly replies to my MC’s flirting, he seriously unravelled all my focus in my first playthrough! Next thing I know, I’m always on the lookout on how to get scenes with him on it!
Aaaannnddd... I totally forgot about Calderon and Damon. (Well, thanks to the quarantine, I created another playthroughs for Calderon and Damon but my god, I keep on playing my June playthrough... especially his Valentines DLC story and I can’t help but squeee!)
AARRRGGHHH... why can’t you exist in the real world instead, June!!!????
