There are no words to express how much the organization means to me! but I will do my best to describe how awesome it was ! Project Athena Foundation offers trips to young survivors that help them with healing. I know I will never be the same after an experience like that.

So I am very excited because today I posted a quilt onto Etsy and now my store has 100 items! That shows how much work and passion my mom and I been putting into the business. Home Grown Fabrics is a small business based on the love of fiber and art! Color of course inspires me everyday !

Swim the Suck

On Saturday I was a pilot (kayaker) for this swim event called swim the suck! I was so inspired, the athleticism and kindness I saw from these people was awesome! It was an amazing opportunity to get a few hours on the river and get some paddling. The swim is 10 miles in suck creek , It was an absolutely gorgeous day !

10 miles is a pretty long day to paddle but I really enjoyed it perfect…

First Descents

A few weeks ago I had one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I went to this adventure camp for young cancer survivors. This program is called First Descents and I would recommend this for any young cancer survivor (18-39). It has truly helped me in multiple aspects of life including self-confidence, physical ability, peace of mind and more.
