One Of  These Nights ★ Just Stay For A Minute ★

Wendy’s ( @rkwendy ) center stage featuring Sohee ( @rksohee ) , Dahye ( @dahyexrk ), Yooa ( @rkyooa ) and Minhee. [ Distrubition ] 

This performance sounded the simplest yet this proven to be a challenge vocally, thankfully Wendy gave her least lines in this performance. She felt blessed to be performing talented vocalists once again, she never tired of hearing these ladies angelic vocals. The sphere did have a good ear when comes to harmonization ( which still working on improving ) she did like to harmonize with other singers as sounds ten times better than own voice. Minhee didn’t have powerful vocals like wonderful wendy nor she never will no matter how much she practices. Besides she is content with the fact, she couldn’t handle the pressure of being the main vocalist and rather become the sub-vocalist in the future. 

Part of Minhee will be envious of these singers to be blessed with these beautiful voices, between her and Yooa were weakest vocalists yet Yooa could hit high notes better than her. Gosh, she was such in awe of their talent too. It encourages her to give her best on her few lines she had to do, showing off a little dash of charm when delivering the lines. The words of the song weren’t really hard to relate too either, in her heart she knows there are people who would love to meet again and wish they would stay longer. Minhee acted on those thoughts, trying to seduce them to make them stay little longer as she didn’t want to be alone, through lingering looks and glances.  In the end, the performance felt quite simple and sweet plus the girls never seem to disappoint either. It would be nice to work together again for another evaluation, she prefers group evaluations instead of solo ones. She felt too exposed when she is performing her own with all her flaws and weakness out in the open, at least in the group she could hide to some extent. Maybe she might change her in mind in the future...

How I’ve been feeling lately...

In this picture I am posing with my niece Monroe. I attached this because my nieces, as well as my whole family make me feel really good. This last weekend I got the chance to go home and spend time with my nieces, my mom, my dad, my sister and brother and their spouses. It’s almost like my family is a big group of friends. When I was younger I saw my family as just any other family, being forced to spend time with them was draining and always made me feel inadequate because I couldn’t live up to what they wanted me to be. But I have recently realized that those feelings of inadequacy were just my teenage brain not giving my family the credit they deserved. After I turned 18 and received a few of the privileges of being an adult and my family stopped trying to control me, I realized they were only trying to protect me all those years. Since then they have all become my best friends. I call my mom daily which makes me feel connected with her and never truly alone. College has been a scary and difficult time for me. I have faced a lot of struggles with being lonely and feeling like a disappointment. It is hard to not internalize these feelings and see them to be true. Going home this last weekend was a good reset. I got to spend time with people that make me smile and know the real me. They made me feel elated and confident in myself again. They also help me to realize that not everything is the end of the world, at the end of the day I still have an amazing family I can always turn to. 

So in short, I have been feeling relieved that I got to go home, the entire experience has made me feel joyful and at ease and confident in myself.

Adventures in History VII

“How can I be… really sure it’s not carbon monoxide or food poisoning?” I’d heard it feels like one is still in full control of themselves.

Oh my dear kitten. You’re talking to a voice in your head. I might very well be either of those.

… kitten. Great. What a… great start. Not talking about the caramel either.

“… the other option would be… that you are implying a bunch of piss drunk students managed to summon an ancient demon. Which is entirely ridiculous” Not that the whole situation wasn’t.

One of them seemed to have pronounced the summoning text just right~

I squinted at that, because… of course I pronounced it right. But demons still didn’t exist and- “… so. You… possessed my body. Just like that. And became… stronger. How?”

Like I said, maybe you needed all that caramel.

“That is in no way, shape or form a healthy diet and I do not think it was at all good for me,” I did not need a malevolent spirit.

Mmmh, but it did give you a boost of energy. And hey, I am talking now, am I not?

I was not sure if I wanted him to, though. With a huff, I asked: “What’s your name, then?”

You can call me Mazin. Of course it’s not my real name, but it suffices, right?

This did not sound trustworthy at all: “So, what… are you doing here?”

Mh, gathering strength right now. I’m still weak. And sleepy. So… yeah, talk to you later.

“Ey! You can’t just-“ I felt there was nothing there anymore.

… I continued sitting on the bed.

This was. Insane.

And… after I slept over this – with open window, just to be sure – I would try to find anything about a ‘Mazin’. Internet. Books.

The stupid book they had used.

And I would get drunk. Very drunk. It’s when I first got it, right?

RIGHT.

I am doing a lot better today, which isn’t to say back to 100% (if I was ever there), but better than yesterday and the day before. Every month, man. But, it was compounded with other junk.

I’m still in the midst of money issues, but it’s a little better. Kinda. August will be much easier, but it’ll be a sticky two months before then. 

Anyway, act 3 (in Sloane’s storyline/pov; three other storylines/povs to do, but they’re not as long) is coming to an end and I’m just about to kick off act 4. Good stuff.

“They’re not.” Maya said. “See, what’s really cool is the superhero angle! Not so much the main character’s ordinary job as a lawyer.”

“… Oh. I see.”  That would make more sense, wouldn’t it…

“Sorry to burst your bubble, Nick!” She grinned. “But I can’t imagine a game with just lawyers in it!”

“A game about lawyers, huh?” Doesn’t exactly sound like a hit, if you ask me.

“It’s a promotional poster for that one game series.” Phoenix observed, “The one about the superhero disguised as a lawyer…” He shrugged. “I guess I don’t get the appeal.”

Ema Skye adjusted her glasses on top of her head.

“Scientifically speaking, what fascinates the consumers is power of the superhero contrasted with the identifiable common person. The player feels empowered because they compare themselves to the protagonist!”

“… Right.” I could be wrong, but that doesn’t exactly sound scientific.

“Trucy, what are you playing?” Apollo looked over her shoulder on the couch.

“It’s a game about a superhero!” She said, “Well, a superhero in disguise as a lawyer.”

“A lawyer?” He blinked. “What’s so special about a lawyer?”

“I don’t know!” Trucy shrugged. “Maybe it’s because of their flamboyant gestures!”

“F-flamboyant gestures?!”

“It appears to be a promotional commercial about a new spinoff series.” Edgeworth said, “Some game series featuring a protagonist who works as a lawyer in daily life, yet doubles as a superhero who protects the city.”

“Hey, what’s that look on your face for, Mr. Edgeworth?” Kay asked with a mischievous smile.

“Somehow, I doubt a game featuring a lawyer would turn out this popular…”

“Really? Actually, I think a game about a Great Thief would be cool!”

“… I’m sure.” He said.
