Interactive apparatus, VR headset version Computer, VR headset and headphones.

Dérive invites to explore 3D models of geographical locations which are transformed according to live environmental data collected on the Internet. Initially developed as an interactive installation, this VR headset version immerses the public in digitized spaces. Their appearance, soundscape and navigation conditions are determined by information about ongoing meteorological and astronomical phenomena. Temperature, wind, humidity, precipitation, visibility, atmospheric pressure, sunlight and moon phase are simulated and evoked through fluctuating point clouds.
