Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus—what a neat figure and cool sculpt, especially if you got him for less than MSRP. I also picked up the Perfect Effect PC-17 Core Magnus upgrade for this guy (which rocks), and will post those comparison shots later.

Hitchin’ a ride…

I think the reason Minimus Ambus transforms into a separate hovercar-thing is because the visibility inside Magnus’s cab is the worst. Their windshields are almost the same height! Safety first.

The Teatro Farnese in Parma, Italy, built originally in 1618! Crafted beautifully and entirely of wood, perhaps excepting some reinforcements when it was rebuilt after WWII.

Hasbro’s Titans Return Slugslinger. Strangely, I got this guy, the lone new deluxe in Wave 6, before I got any of the Wave 5 deluxes. So I haven’t seen any of his moldmates aside from eldest brother (and my favorite) Triggerhappy yet, but Slugsinger is nearly as good!

Robot mode comparisons of Wei Jiang’s Robot Force Battle Hornet (3rd party OS and extensive remold of HFTD Battle Blade Bumblebee; left/bottom) and Hasbro’s Masterpiece Movie Series Bumblebee (right/top), including headsculpt, torso, battle helmet, and more. They do look pretty good together!

GCreation’s Ultra Maxmas (IDW Optimus Prime) is a beautiful, complex thing. It instantly vaulted up to the most complicated/detailed transformation of any toy I own, by a decent margin. After watching Wotafa’s (ヲタファ) immensely helpful video, I was able to tranform it back and forth the 2nd time from memory. I enjoy the process but it *is* fiddly, and definitely not for everyone.
