watching an episode of 4 weddings set in your hometown is so funny like you’re watching someone have a wedding reception in the same place you snuck out of your little brother’s middle school play to get ice cream with the boy who told you he loved you only to find out years later that he kissed your sister that same night and everybody knew about it and didn’t tell you........... wack!
Lily James and Alicia Vikander just got married.
It was for the comic relief special sequel to 4 Weddings, but it happened, and it happen on prime time tv, and I’m a WRECK.
Comic relief starts in 10 minutes
Guys, we are getting a 4 weddings reunion, and the spoof sequel to the spoof mamma mia, and I just can't contain myself.
i love trash tv
Respect my Earbuds
I get mad when people say, “If you come to America, you need to speak english.” It’s wrong on so many levels, the biggest being that means I would understand even more strangers’ conversations. You have any idea how many things that on a daily basis I’m already trying to unhear? Sit in a Starbucks for 15 minutes without headphones and you’ll wish you were in a foreign country.
Tragically, there’s a new problem developing, earbuds are worn so often, no one thinks you’re actually listening to anything. In the good old days, if you had earbuds in, people thought you were on the phone. They’d actually get quiet around you. Now, strangers will walk up and just start talking. If you’re listening to something, you’re expected to stop and pay focus on this uninvited guest. Forget ear squatter’s rights. Try to enjoy a podcast or music while shoveling a driveway. Neighbors see you and start yelling over. Now, because of this intruder, you’ve got to take off gloves, take off your hat, hit pause, pull the headphones out of your ears just to hear insight like, “I think we got about 4 inches. Doppler 27,000 says we’re in the clear tonight but my knee is telling me we’ll get about 5 more inches.” Then after putting everything back on the other neighbor comes out to talk. It’s why many winter in the south.
Forgetting headphones on a trip barely less stressful than leaving home without your phone. I was in a hotel gym (which was basically a treadmill and a one armed elliptical) and the tv remote was missing. I was forced to not just watch the tv, but with the sound and no control. It’s on TLC and a show called, “4 Weddings.” I tried to turn away, the that one arm can catch you if you’re not paying attention. Shockingly, it’s a “Reality” show. Camera crews follow 4 brides going to each other’s special day and rating each part. Whoever gets the highest total score wins a free honeymoon or something. We watched all 4 brides at each reception having cocktails, appetizers, the buffet, wedding cake and more deserts. Riveting television. immediately you know the last bride wont win. By the time they get to her there’s no way she’s getting in her dress. “I am sucking it in, Bethany. More like bitch of honor. Get my Spanx.”
To make it more interesting, they should do a reunion show, where the brides get together and criticize each others’ husbands. 5 year anniversary show was the original plan but everyone knows at least 2 of the couples wouldn’t make it.
The point is, now I understand why Beats are so expensive.
Litterly Every Single Episode of 4Weddings
Every single episode of 4 weddings Josie: Im a country girl and I want an old fashioned barn-wedding with a traditional long sleeve dress. Maria: I hate country weddings. If it's not downtown in the hottest venue who will see my amazing sweetheart dress.. The attendees? No. They already know I'll have a great rack and even greater sushi. Amanada: I would love an outdoor wedding on the beach, under the sun. Weve got to protect our oceans, and that's why I'm serving organic vegan fish tacos on a make your own vegan taco bar. Brit'nae: I hate being outside in the heat. I'm not sweating off any of this makeup. The only one hot at my wedding will be big mama frying up the hamhocks at my big Church ceremony & reception. Wedding one - Maria: I hate the venue. I feel like I'm in heehaw. Amana: I think the traditional ceremony is so cute and you can tell they really love each other. Brit'nae: I don't love the dress. But it really fits her and who she is. I can tell this was her. All the little details are her. Wedding two - Josie: I thought their music was very fun and we had a great time dancing. Amanda: is there anything else to eat? All they have is cheese rolls and sushi. Brit'nae: The location is so beautiful, I love this venue and the open bar. Wedding three - Josie: I thought the taco bar was definitely a cute idea. Maria: The dress was very attractive on her. I love how she carried her beach theme all the way thru. Brit'nae: I don't like birds. There was alot of sea gulls and I was not having that. I wanted to run and hide. Wedding four - Josie: I've never been to an African American church before. I think it was so fun and the singing was amazing and the guests were so friendly. Maria: their ceremony was long, but you cold tell they really love each other. I got a little tear in my eye when her husband started crying. Amanda: She had alot of fried foods and I couldn't really eat much. I would've liked to sea a vegetarian option at least. Josie: where do you think theyre going to send us? Maria: idk, im so nervous. Amanda: I really don't know who won, you were all great. Brit'nae: yes, i know I was. *Maria's husband Michael steps out* The big winner is Maria. Maria won strong points for the over the top venue and wedding gown to die for. She gained valuable points for her exciting reception, even tho the ladies were underwealmed with the food selection. Coming in second was Josie. The fall themed wedding was will recieved by the brides, scoring her high for both her reception and the intimate ceremony. Just half a point behind was Brit'nae. The brides were swept away by Brit'nae's hand written vows and romantic ceremony and they scored her second in food for her southern style cuisine and generous buffet. And coming in fourth was Amanda. The judges were wowed by her hand made touches and her creative take on a beach themed wedding.
Trying something new after having seen 4 Weddings on TLC. That show is so addicting, you sit down to watch tv, and look what’s on again? 4 Weddings, how much are these brides paying for their wedding this time, $25,000, $90,000??!?!?!?!?!? And so I sit and watch to see why. So, yeah, I saw one of the brides had a painting of her dress, so I wanted to give something similar a try.
