regarding states & dominant thoughts ... i'm going to be honest w yall. in my humble opinion without being sedimental ofc, without offending anyone who thinks differently from my pov, but also looking into this matter from a distinctive perspective, i would like to say that .... 😊

first of all i go by nevilles teaching & I'M NOT TRYING TO INVALIDATE ANYONES MANIFESTING JOURNEY W THIS POST. also this is how i understand the law & states in a way it makes sense to me ! i just know that if my post were to land on twitter in any way they'd find a way to twist my words so I'm putting this disclaimer smh. been there the last few days & shit is literally so crazy on there... not even funny anymore 😭
1) ure always in a state !!
ill just copy paste what hera's anon (cr.: hera / sexydreamgirl + anon) said bc it's the most simple explanation imo:
Whatever you're conscious of is an indicator of your state, therefore if youre conscious of failure, (ie worrying about when your desire is going to get here) then youre in the state of failure. If youre thinking from your desires, (ie asking yourself how you would feel if your desire was realized), then youre in the state of having your desires. Whatever your conscious of explains your state.
"u didn't think abt states before loa when u were manifesting shitty circumstances, it's not important now" quoting another tweet i totally absolutely agree with btw: "OKAY ANND??? ure still in a state no matter what 💀 just how there is always air even if u can't see it" !!!
u can call it overcomplicating but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist 💀 also seems like some ppl don't know what the definition of it is bc u cannot be not in a state 😭
2) how do states manifest?
the reason ur state manifests is bc the moment ure strongly indulged in that feeling of the state ure in, ur subconscious won't be able to tell apart 4d & 3d. (i mean it never does since it believes everything ure telling urself) it intensifies in that moment bc ure deep in imagination that both ur subconscious & conscious FEEL as if it was happening rn.
the moment u feel ur desired state for enjoyment (state of wish fulfilled) & not bc ure currently trying hard & "need" to do it for ur manifestation (state of lack) is when you've mastered loa. (in my opinion without offending anyone who thinks otherwise).
that's also why practicing imagining purely for enjoyment is a good thing.
that's when u say it's done bc it literally just happened or not? didn't u just rn flirt w sp? weren't u literally showing off ur brand new phone? it just happened.
i'm a huge believer of thoughts follow ur state. as someone who struggled with anxiety a lot & learning abt loa at the same time back then, i would meditate a LOT for a peace of mind. & that's where the thoughts of someone who's feeling alright came.
*meditating, clearing my mind, feeling at peace*, "i am doing alright now", "i feel good", "i'm feeling better now", "it's okay".
i was in the state of peace & my thoughts were naturally coming in after.
ofc it's not easy for everyone to feel (= acceptance not emotions) instantly on command & this is where methods are useful. but before that, another example:
listening to sad music. u can't tell me that when ure listening to music u don't have imaginary scenarios & then start to have a whole script & THENN the scene starts n ppl start talking (=affirmations). now if this is a song abt a break up & ure crying throwing up infront of somebody's door, you'd start having scenarios like "WHY DID U BREAK UP W ME, DO U NOT LOVE ME ANYMORE? WHAT DID I DO WRONG" *sad walking away into the unknown*
yea see that. u just felt that so real, the song has finished & u fell out of it. ure probably gonna be in a sad mood for a while (doesn't have to be long) but the thoughts u had while imagining that whole drama is probably haunting u for a lil while even if u didn't break up with someone ir have never dated anyone.
in this tumblr loa community we know that it's never the methods that manifest & that is bc it's ur state of mind 😭 so if yk abt the state of the wish fulfilled, if yk abt methods being only tools then congrats u do believe in states manifest.
now the thing is. one reason why mostly the loa twt community thinks affirming is not a method & that it could never be a method is bc they don't believe in states !1!1!1!1!1! IMOO almost everything that gets u into the state of wish fulfilled IS a method. & that's where it clashes with ppl who don't believe in states bc we know that it's states that manifest & not our affirmations more or less thoughts. here is a post abt affirming =/= thinking.
also ME WITH MY HONESTY N ALL THAT HUMBLE OPINION .... affs & thoughts are similar but i think there's still a line. affirmations are more statement like of yourself/others while thinking is MOSTLY just opinions w no more meaning? tbh affs are more conscious 😭 like idk how i should explain how i see it but thoughts are just a chain reaction of each other that come naturally when ure thinking of a topic. while affirming is REMINDING urself. like ure WILLINGLY choosing to think abt it.
BACK TO STATE AFTER METHODS,, i gotta lowkey disagree. methods are here to help u & especially if ure struggling w mental health they will help u A LOT which is why methods can be very helpful to u & almost even make u feel like it's the method that manifested it. (well i still believe that its the state those methods produce is that manifests if i didn't make that clear already).
the reason i said ALMOST everything everything gets u into the state is a method is bc decreeing/deciding is not a method! i notice that a lot of the time i put intentions & decide that it's going to be a good day & then i had thoughts of having a good day, being excited over that day, etc. this is basically thoughts after states, sorry if this is messy but i still hope u get my point.
5) dominant thoughts (+ logic)
i'm sorry but this sounds too much like logic to me 😭 & i'm honestly guilty for believing that for a while too that
affirming + repetition = dominant thoughts = belief = manifestation
but looking at it now it's so... time wasting to me? i'm pretty sure ppl who believe that dominant thoughts manifest think like that equation above.
it sounds & reminds me a lot of the 10k aff challenge 🙁
now don't get me wrong, u can def saturate ur mind & it will def help with negative thoughts (based on my experience) however i think it's important that while u are saturating ur mind to know that u are reminding urself how u are or what u have. that is what is giving u the final push. that u are someone who is that/has that. (i also have a "method" for that here)
i already stated my opinion on the 10k challenge that i don't like how ppl start thinking that once u reach 10k affs it will come bc that is a limiting belief 😭 u didn't affirm 10k times before so why would u now? i affirmed once for free food, forgot abt it & got offered a burger by my classmate 10 minutes after & i never talked to him b4 😭 that can't be a coincidence & I didn't affirm 10k for that as well. i said i didn't like the challenge as well bc it's based on SCIENCE. i mean the reason it was 10k aff was bc it takes 10k repetitions for it to become a belief. imo the challenge is good if u keep reminding urself that ure manifesting the MINDSET of someone who yk. not to get it but to BECOME that version of urself who does live in a mansion, dates nct's jaehyun & gets 1,000,000€ everytime u shit.
just like how @remcycl333 on twt said, it's def not fun if u built the belief that the more u affirm the sooner u get ur manifestations!! it's easy to start becoming obsessed with affirming & can be draining!!! even if u make ur own rules & having "the more i affirm the sooner i get it" as a rule, ure persisting in not having it rn bc u think to urself "don't worry i only have to affirm more so I'll get it" BUT WHEN WILL BE ENOUGH??? that's when we decide it's done. we're telling our subconscious it's done everytime we think of it & boom the birth of ur manifestations. (DISCLAIMER THIS IS ALSO MY PERSONAL OPINION ON FUTURE TENSE AFFIRMATIONS, PLS TAKE IT W A GRAIN OF SALT)

i feel like i lost my point quite a few times & it hasn't been abt states only but yea i put my whole brain into this trying to explain it easy how i personally view everything abt the law & my opinion on it. if u don't resonate that's ok! i hope that at least here we can openly share our opinions without having to be dragged to hell & back.

oh & also apparently all this states thingy is now "overcomplicating" manifesting ?? idk what u guys think but if ure new to the law & understand how it works instead of ppl only telling u to affirm + persist, I'd have an easier time manifesting.
oh n btw another reason why i strongly belief that states manifest is bc i used to affirm 24/7 when i was new but the moment i understood that it should be reminding urself (& states n all that states) it made me click! n boom everything quite literally in my favor
also if u want to enter the state of wish fulfilled without a method it's just knowing & accepting that its done / urs! forgot to add this lol.
oh & also it's the dominant state that manifests not the dominant thoughts imo
