Crash and Burn / Cryptcaller Chariot

Today we've got a two-for-one deal, with crash and burn and the Cryptcaller Chariot. The first is a new 4th-level spell that gives you control of the gas pedal for an enemy's car; the second is a new vehicle from the desert expanse of Amonkhet, which conjures up the spirits of dead warriors to protect itself. Both offer new ways to amp up the speed for GMs and players alike. I haven't shown off very many spells from this set yet, but it's not for lack of making them! (Mostly it's because they don't look as nice or take up a full page.) But if you want to see more of them, plus some magic items and more creatures, you can find them all on my Patreon. Minoletta’s Concussive Missiles

4th-level Evocation

Casting Time: Action

Range: 60 feet, 5 foot radius

Components: V, S

Duration: Instantaneous

Description: Minoletta’s second evolution of the famous Magic Missiles, this spell launches a swarm of seven missiles that explode on impact, causing a shockwave that can harm those near the target. Choose one creature to be the primary target. For each missile, make a ranged spell attack against that target, dealing 1d10 bludgeoning damage on a hit. Then, every creature adjacent to the primary target must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 bludgeoning damage per missile that hit the primary target. If targeting a Large or larger creature, choose one square of its space to be the origin of this radius. The primary target is never affected by this secondary damage.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you fire one additional missile for each slot level above 4th.

Curse of insomnia - 6th level spell

Curse of Insomnia

You bestow a curse on an object that when consumed will take away the victim’s ability to sleep. They will still grow tired but will be forced to stay awake until they die from sleep deprivation. [...] When cursed, the victim will be unable to sleep at all and 10 days they will fall dead. Every 2 days leading up to their death, the curse will drain the creature’s constitution [...] and charisma.

Spent the day decorating my 4th level using the glitch to access it. Turns out weeds automatically disappear if placed up there. I hope eventually we can do this legitimately. Wall of Flesh

4th-level conjuration

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 120ft

Components: V, S, M (a small mound of humanoid flesh, eyes, and teeth in a glass jar or similar sealed container)

Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You create a writhing wall made entirely of humanoid flesh with oversized, pointed teeth and bulbous eyes of varying sizes. The wall is stationary, but writhes and the mouths are constantly exhibiting this moan of pain and anguish. You can make the wall up to 60ft long, 20ft high, and 5ft thick.

If the wall cuts through a creature's space when it appears, the creature within its area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, teeth conjure from under it and bite the creature, dealing 6d6 piercing damage on a hit and, after the damage has been dealt, spitting the creature out 5ft on one side of the wall.

On either side of the wall, each creature within 5ft of it must make a can and will be attacked by the overgrown and numerous teeth. they must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d10 piercing damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful save.

A creature can move through the wall, though slowly and painfully. for every one foot a creature moves through the wall, it must spend 5ft of movement. If any creature ends its turn inside the wall, it must make a Constitution saving throw as the rotten fluids inside the wall corrode the creatures skin, dealing 3d8 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Though the wall can be moved through, it can also be attacked. It has AC 14 and 30 hit points per 1ft section. Reducing a 5ft section of wall to 0 hit points destroys it and leaves a puddle of acidic blood. Any creature that attempts to move through this acid pile must make a dexterity saving throw. That creature takes 1d10 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

((very small spell I whipped up for my current campaign that I expected one of my characters to take, but they didn't. I suppose I'll post it here. I don't think it's the most balanced thing ever, but I had fun making it because I just wanted a mound of flesh in teeth that can be summoned))

Tears of Denial (4th Level, Abjuration)

Casting Time: 10 minutes

Range: Touch

Components: V, S

Duration: 24 hours

Classes: Bard, Cleric, Paladin

When you finish casting this spell you touch a willing creature, granting it a ward against death itself. The next time during the spell’s duration that the target would be reduced to 0 hit points, it’s reduced to 1 hit point instead. Afterwards, the spell ends.
