Absolutely in love with these @pixibeauty Rose 🌹 Skintreats 💦 the Rose Glow Mist is a lovely hydrating mist in that perfect Pixi mister bottle, rose, argan & avocado oils that soothes & comforts 🌹 the Rose Ceramide Cream is full of ceramides, rose oil & probiotics & is my new favourite layering product 🌹💦 seriously I put it on with everything. It's beautiful as a buffer with retinols, acids, as a primer under makeup or spf or a hydrating serum. It's not quite rich enough to use on its own - maybe in the summer. My skincare rituals are for my skin & my soul 🙏 the comfort I get often comes from the textures & fragrances of the products I use. These @lamaisonclaytonshagal take me to my earliest skincare experiences and facials ✨ the soft gentle fragrance & texture of the Clayton Shagal Milk Cleanser is all about the old school facials I remember, that feeling of luxury when I was young & using Sea Breeze & Ten-O-Six on @y oily skin ✨ the feeling of a moisturizing milky cleanser being massaged into my skin by my beloved Russian facialist Lucie (I still miss her), her deft skilled hands gently massaging a delicately fragranced cream into my face while steam filled the air...the word "expensive" comes to mind when I think of milky cleansers like this. Yes it's probably generational. Yes there are fancier cleansers with actives etc but when my skin is dry & I want to elevate my experience, I take myself back to a time when a cleanser could make me feel pampered & luxurious ✨ the Clayton Shagal Cucumber Avocado hydrates, plumps, brightens, soothes & restores radiance & at the same time, that cucumber scent also takes me back to the 70s & those peel off cucumber masks - remember those?
