Demolition of Paddock House Work starts on Monday February 20th. Mid Suffolk District Council are responsible for this development and their contractor @gbmdemolition will be carrying out the demolition on site and work will run for 14 consecutive weeks. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Parents teach us lots of things, and we often first learn about style, identity and confidence from our mothers. My mom is one of a kind. I mean, look at her awesome beehive hair style in this photo of me as a baby! 

She's not perfect, but she did instill in me a strong sense of individuality which I still value daily. My mom's sense of unique style had me raiding her closet for cool '60s go-go dresses and '70s glittery pant suits. 

Her personal style gave me the confidence to experiment with my own fashion sense. Because of my mom, I would experiment with looks and didn't care what fashion trends dictated. I wore vintage flapper dresses from the 1920s with punk rock jackets and neon '80s jewelry.

It didn’t dawn on me to correct him, because of age bias’s subtlety. The tech industry is highly competitive, so as subtle as the -isms (including ageism & sexism) can be, they are also used as leverage, to pull high performance from employees. I have observed peers involuntarily pivoting their careers for “staff reductions”, while their positions are backfilled with younger & cheaper counterparts. I believe tech has work to do.
