Playable Story - Doc (Gustave Kateb) x reader
»»-—————————————- ♡ -—————————————-««
The Stadium lay dormant as everyone had gone to sleep for the night, except for those on night duty and the operators who refused to rest until their work for the day was done. Gustave was one of those operators. He was locked in his office, working away at a stack of papers, hoping that the night would pass quickly so he could focus on something other than just his work.
Files upon files of recently admitted recruits and new operators led to a backlog of medical information that needed to be digitised. He had no assistant in this task, only himself and his lukewarm coffee, which he had left abandoned in the far corner of his desk as he transcribed every piece of paper that sat at his desk. Manila folders covered both sides of his desk, leaving him with just enough space to type on his keyboard and nothing else.
He leaned back on his chair, hand wiping over his eyes and pulling down in a bid to keep them open. Exhaustion began to settle in long ago, but Gustave wouldn't let himself succumb to it. He needed to finish this work. As he looked back at his work, his stomach let out a rumbling and jarring sound. He was hungry and had forgone lunch in order to finish up. That was 5 hours ago, and he still hadn't made a dent in his work. As he began typing away on his keyboard, he heard a knock on the door to his office.
“Come in.” His voice was hoarse and tired; any energy he might have had was gone after nearly a full day of just working in the clinic.

“They told me I’d died. They were wrong. I was reborn”
Your eyes instinctively rolled as he retold his famous line to the newly recruited rookies, who’s eyes widened in wonder and fascination.
“How many times must you tell this story, Alexsandr?”
His booming laughter flooded the room as he draped his heavy arm around your shoulders. His helmet was tucked under his other arm, allowing him to place a small kiss against your cheek. He said his goodbyes to his new companions as he dragged you away with him.
“You love the story, you just won’t admit it!”
“Clinically dead! Two whole minutes!”
“REBORN!”
You shook your head, looking down so he couldn’t see your small smile. You wrapped your significantly smaller hand into his as you walked together. You came to a stop at a walkway that connects two major sections of the complex. It didn’t have walls, just a small safety guard and a roof supported by metal poles.
You felt the raindrops whip around you, occasionally wetting your face and clothes while the deep rumbling of thunder in the distance indicated the worsening of the storm. The weather was putting you in a somber mood. You grasped his hand harder. His face contorted into a worried expression.
“What’s wrong?”
“Just thinking about that day.”
He waved it off, “A mission gone wrong, it can happen at all times.”
“That’s what worries me. The frequency of accidents and wrong calls. One day you might die and not come back.”
He sighed, pulling you close and wrapping his thick arms around you, suffocating you in a bear hug. “Do not think like that, Y/N,” he attempted to brighten the mood, “I won’t go down without a fight!”
You chuckled, feeling yourself relax. He pressed his lips against your forehead as he spoke again, “The same goes for you! You best be fighting with all you can in the field!”
You nodded, letting the sounds of rain and thunder comfort you. You both headed back into your shared room, where your stomach let out a roar of strange noises. He set down the heavy helmet onto the wooden dresser before turning back to you with a smirk.
“Did someone get sick? We were only outside for a second, how did you get sick that fast?!”
You shook your head, denying that you were sick. “Alexsandr, how could I have gotten sick? It wasn’t cold outside or anything.” You took off your shoes, heading to the bathroom to start your usual routine. You stared at yourself in the mirror. Your skin seemed to practically glow in the dim lighting.
You suddenly felt dizzy, you could tell something was wrong. As Alexsandr waited patiently outside, he heard a small thud, followed by your gagging. His eyebrows furrowed. He knocked lightly with his knuckles, “Y/N, are you okay?”
The only response he got was the contents of your stomach emptying into the toilet. He did not wait for you to let him in. He twisted the knob and pushed against the door, soaking in the image of you hunched over, eyes red and teary.
He quickly rushed over, patting your back and asking if you were okay. You covered your mouth with the tips of your fingers, replying in a trembling voice, “Yes, dear. I guess the food messed me up, it didn’t seem good to me anyways.”
You gave him a reassuring smile, hoping he would drop the situation. But he stared back with sadness in his eyes, “Maybe we should go to the medbay.” You shook your head, repeating once again that you were fine.
He told you to lay back in bed for a minute, telling you to wait as he set something up. You stood on shaky legs, heading back to the warm and inviting mattress. Your eyes drooped the moment your head hit the pillow.
You awoke to Alexsandr’s heavy hand shaking your shoulder. You squinted up at him, letting out a confused hum. He chuckled at the look of your messy hair and drool trickling from your mouth.
He put his arms underneath you, one on your back and the other underneath your knees. You wrapped your arms around his neck, taking in his scent as he carried you back into the bathroom.
He sat you on the edge of the tub, and you were able to see his work. He had gathered some odd candles and placed them around the room, he had drawn a bath, pouring in some bubblebath solution. You chuckled at the effort.
“I threw up once!” You didn’t think the situation was as dramatic as he thought. He pressed a small kiss on your forehead, He helped you undress, tossing the garments in a hamper nearby. He told you to step in the tub as he turned back into the bedroom.
You did as told, relaxing as he came back with a small chair. He grabbed your brush and started to work on your hair, at quite an odd angle. A contempt hum escaped your throat as he continued his loving touches.
“I’ll go to the medbay tomorrow, since you’re actually worried. It’ll probably be nothing.”
“You always worry so much about me, but you never take the time to worry about yourself, Y/N.”
You didn’t respond while you let yourself sink deeper into the tub, letting the sweet aromas fill your nose. He played some Tchaikovsky, a composer you had learned to love when you started dating the Russian operator.
Once the bath had run cold and you were all cleaned up, he had dressed you into one of his old shirts which was clearly several times bigger than your frame. He carried you back into bed, letting you rest your head on him. He pulled the blanket over the both of you. His lips met yours before you went into a deep slumber.
The following day, as you had previously told your husband, you went to the medbay. You greeted Doc as you waited patiently for him to examine you. You explained how you were feeling, and how worried your boyfriend was.
As Doc continued to listen, he seemed to become a little paler. At the end of your little rant of symptomes, he nodded and stepped over to a drawer. He pulled out a slim white box. He sat down in front of you, a small clipboard in hand.
“It may seem like a simple illness, but just to be sure, I want you to take this test. I’m sorry if I have caused an embarrassment. But I just want to make sure that you’re at the top of your game.”
He passed you the small white box, the bolded words caused your face to burst into a dark blush. Pregnancy test. Your eyes avoided Gustave’s. “Well-I mean… Is it possible I will be? Like what are the chances, huh? C-Can I really actually be…”
Your face stayed cherry red as you finished up your visit. You thanked Doc for the check up, telling him you would notify him once you had the results from the test. Your head was busy as you walked back to your room. What about your job? Will Alexsandr be happy? Or mad? Were you ready to be a mother?
Alexsandr. He was out for the next hour or so as he had a meeting for the next mission he was assigned to. You would have the results before he came back. You pondered about which result he would want…
The instructions on the box were simple. Pee on the end and wait twenty minutes. Okay, first step, done. Now for the hardest part. Just waiting. You sighed as you set the test down on the bathroom’s counter. You put a timer on your phone as you waited, scrolling through Instagram on your bed.
The ringing of your phone startled you. You stared at the contact name, it was Monika. Fuck. Last week you had promised her you would help test some modifications on her device. You stared nervously at the bathroom’s door. He’d be back in an hour, so you’d have time to help Monika.
You answered the call, saying that you were on your way and apologized for the tardiness. You tossed your phone on the bedside table and began your journey to the concrete room that Elena used to test all devices.
Alexsandr’s meeting ended early. The briefing had gone exceptional, for once everyone was in agreement of the plan. He was hopeful your meeting with Doc had gone well, that you were perfectly fine.
As he stepped into the cold and empty room, he was saddened to see you haven’t returned. He decided to shower before you came back, but he was stuck in place as he saw what was on the counter.
Should he pick it up? No, what if you wanted to know first? But you left it unattended. Did you want him to see? Where were you now? You left your phone here, so he couldn’t call you to ask.
His curiosity got the better of him. He picked up the test with shaky hands, letting his eyes scan over the results. He could practically feel his heart beat out of his chest.
He dropped the test, the clattering of the test onto the cold tile floors had brought him out of his stunned state. ‘Oh shit. Oh fuck. Holy fucking shit.’
His mind raced. He had to find you now. He bolted out of the room, looking around everywhere to see if there was any trace of you. He stopped at the medbay, cafeteria, even the meeting rooms. He was growing impatient of having to stop and ask if anyone had seen you.
But eventually, someone gave him an answer. They had seen you walking with Monika, visibly shaken up. Alexsandr’s panicked state had caused him to forget your promise to Monika. He gave them a quick thank you, scurrying to catch you at the testing rooms.
He eventually spotted you as you had tossed one of Maghan’s spare cameras up for Monika to later detect. Monika was nowhere in sight, he assumed she left to go talk to Elena about her electronics detector.
Without warning, he sprinted towards you, but his heavy footsteps alerted you. You turned in time for you to balance yourself into the tight hug he embraced you in. You let out a laugh as you hugged back, “Well you’re out early-”
You tightened up. If he was out early, he came to the room earlier. He had found the test. You released him, pushing back his shoulders to look him in the eyes.
“What are the results?”
He gave you a smile as his eyes let out some tears, “Two lines.”
Your own eyes started to leak. You bit down harshly on your lip, “You’re not mad?”
“Why would I ever be mad? WE’RE HAVING A BABY! Oh my god, I have to call off my mission, I have to stay with you!”
You laughed as you embraced him once again, your previous negative thoughts were washed away. They were replaced by new, exciting thoughts about the future.
You dismissed yourself from the testing with Monika after a few more runs. Alexsandr had waited patiently for you in a nearby chair. Once you were allowed to go, he simply could not let you go. He was over-the-top excited.
As you began walking back together, he couldn’t help but to place his hand over your stomach. “I want a girl.”
You looked at him with a playfulness in your eyes, “I want a boy.”
You stopped at the medbay once again, this time while holding your husband’s hand. Doc could easily assume the results, “I’ll start on some paperwork and help you the best I can. These times can be rough, but I’m sure you’ll be fine.”
After picking up some basic tips and plans from the hard worker, you and the Russian operator left. The day was beginning to end. It was 9:59, according to the digital clock that hung in your room. You both changed into more comfortable clothing.
You picked up the test that was forgotten on the bathroom floor. You snapped a quick picture of it, sending it to the Team Rainbow groupchat. The replies came in fast, varying in responses.
‘How’s his dick game?’
‘Congratulations, you’ll do wonderful’
‘I’m gonna spoil your kid.’
‘You should name it Max Goose.’
‘Ew why would anyone want that name?’
You chuckled at the texts before shutting down your phone, cuddling into your husband’s side.

So the Rainbow Six headquarters was currently under lockdown. You were peacefully enjoying a nice bubble bath, hours after finally coming back from a long and harsh mission. So who was it that had ruined your evening and left you blind in a slippery tub?
Thatcher had begun some testing on his EMP grenade. Long story short, the entire facility was fucked. The emergency system was activated, locking everyone inside until the team was able to get everything functioning properly.
Back to the tub.
For a highly trained and experienced operator, you had slipped on a towel you left on the ground. You cried out as you braced for impact. In a flash all you could feel was a horrible, painful, throbbing burn in your ankle.
You stared down at your ankle, which had already started swelling. Your lips pulled back, ‘All this goddamn hard work for a mission and a towel fucks me over?’, you tried your best to keep yourself standing straight. You wrapped your towel above your breasts tightly to keep from slipping off.
You stumbled out of your room. You passed Grace, who kept the flashlight on you as you dragged yourself passed her. You had no shame at all as you kept your steady pace, flashing a quick and pain-filled smile at her.
You reached the medical center of the building rather quickly, a couple of flashlights were scattered around the room, allowing you to find a bed to rest at. It also allowed you to see… No one. Doc wasn’t there yet.
With a sigh you looked around to keep you entertained. You leaned back, pressing your hand into a soft, warm material. You peeked down, squinting as you tried to distinguish the object.
Doc’s hoodie. It was still warm and had traces of his smell, so you knew he had barely stepped out. You took off the wet, cold towel and zipped up the hoodie. You sighed in satisfaction.
Nearly a whole 30 minutes had passed as you waited. “Such a great doctor.” You mumbled. You considered just slapping a couple of bandages around your ankle, not wanting to wait around any longer. You stubbled to the other side of the room, feeling around for anything that resembled the bandages.
“Who’s there?”
You whipped around to see the door being open, and a dark, broad shouldered outline walked in. “FINALLY! What were you doing?”
“I was helping Baker.” He paused, touching where you had previously been sitting, “Have you seen my hoodie?”
“Uh, no, why?”
“You’re wearing it aren’t you?”
“No..”
The bright fluorescent lights reactivated. You squinted, allowing your eyes to adjust slowly. Then found yourself face to face with Kateb. You backed up, stepping with your hurt ankle. You hissed and leaned up against a different bed.
“Petit voleur.” He whispered before ordering you to sit on the bed you leaned on. He gathered a couple of supplies before placing your foot in his lap, “You did not break your ankle. But I do not recommend walking around much for the next few days.”
You were in and out in less than an hour. You looked back at the damp towel across the room and then back down to the hoodie you currently adorned. You didn’t want to lose the warmth, but it was not your hoodie.
“Keep the hoodie, it suits you quite well,” Doctor Kateb said as he put up the left over bandages, as if reading your mind. He threw you a wink. “Though, I must admit, you’d look better without anything on.”

You had joined Team Rainbow about 3 years ago. You were a smart, and a natural born leader. You were also a practical joker, playing small, harmless pranks on each and every operator. Even the stern Taina had a laughing fit over your pranks. So you’d think the other childish person of Team Rainbow would get along with you right? Nope. WRONG. Jordan disliked you. But you never understood why. You thought you had started on good terms with the Texan.
Whenever he was assigned to the same practice groups, he would be the one to call you into the wrong hallway, leading to your early elimination and negative report. You were starting to get pissed off. Last week was the fourth time in a row he had done it, you were getting sick of his behavior. This week, you wouldn’t listen to him.
You chose to start off in a different segment of the training map. You stuck with Erik, the quieter one of the hard breachers. The two of you worked closely, eliminating the other practice team rather quickly. It had boiled down to a 2v1. Sadly, your companion had sprung a trap, forcing him to move to the spectators group. It was now down to you and Thermite. You groaned when he shot you a smug smile.
“Looks like it’s just me and you, let’s hope I get the final kill.”
“No. Also, I think in a second it’ll just be me left.”
He narrowed his eyes as you both kept moving, “What do you me-” His eyes widened as he spotted the trap he had triggered, signalling the last enemy of your positions. Without practically any effort, you aimed and perfectly shot the ball of paint at their head, ending your practice with a victory. Jordan looked up at you with angry eyes. You smirked and quickly bounded down the stairs to the open area. You ignored the angry call of your name as you regrouped with Maverick. You made small talk with him as you left the practice room.
At meal time, you sat next to Maverick. Surprisingly, you two got along very well, he had never laughed so hard with anyone else. And you had never had anyone stick around as long as he did while you endlessly told shitty puns and dad jokes. You ate while Erik told of a story from his childhood, but had paused to lean down to your ear, “I think someone’s a little jealous.”
He shifted his eyes toward Jordan's direction. Jordan was seated with Emmanuelle and Yumiko. He was glaring at the two of you, but mostly at the taller man seated to your left. “Him? No, he hates me. Hated me since day 1.”
“What about you then, I swear sometimes I see you staring at him in wonder.”
Blood rushed to your face as you stuttered to defend yourself, “Yeah, wondering how he’s such a dumbass!” In all honesty, you did have a small crush on Jordan. He was very cute, and the rivalry had caused intrigue. But you didn’t think anything could happen between the both of you.
At the other table, Jordan watched as Erik had leaned down, brushing his hand to move your hair back so you could hear him better. Yumiko watched as his hands tightened significantly around his fork, “Jordan, what’s wrong?”
“Hmm? Oh no it’s just… those two have been getting awfully close lately.”
“Does our little Jordan have a crush?”
Emmanuelle chuckled at the thought, teasingly pinching the grown man’s cheek. He slapped her hand away, “I do NOT have a crush on that gremlin!”
“Oh yeah, sure, yeah no, of course not.” She winked at Yumiko, which fueled Jordan’s statement of denial. For a while he was distracted, until he heard a loud laughter protruding from your table. Erik had caused you to laugh, making water come out from your nose, causing Erik to snort, which made you laugh even harder.
Without another word, he slammed his fist onto the table and got up, chucking the uneaten food in the garbage before leaving. He let the heavy door hit the wall. The laughter from you and Erik ceased, “See? He’s jealous.”
You shook your head and finished your meal. As you walked back to your room, the thought lingered on your mind, ‘Does Jordan like me too?’ You sat in bed, thinking over things
“Why do I like him if he hates me?”
For the rest of the day, you just slept. By the time you opened your eyes it was pitch black outside, and the clock next to you read 11:43 PM. You certainly weren’t going to sleep for the rest of the night.
You changed into more comfortable clothes and headed out, spotting the room you searched for. You questioned your own thought process, but at the same time, it seemed perfect. Prank Jordan so he hates you even more so in turn you learn to dislike him too. But as you stood outside his room, you were hesitant.
You took a deep breath and stepped in. His light snores let you know he was sleeping soundly. You tiptoed around, holding your breath as you grabbed the slim object. A practically fatal mistake. A beefy, bandaged hand held on tightly to your wrist. With a sheepish smile, you tilted your head to the right, “Oh hey buddy… I was just… making sure your alarm works!”
You tugged your arm back, but Jordan seemed to panic as the screen turned on, faced away from you. He sat up, yanking your wrist with one hand as he grabbed his phone with the other, “What the hell were you trying to do?”
“Uhh… find and send an embarrassing picture or screenshot on your phone to the group chat.”
“Fuck off.”
You huffed and stuck out your hand, “You’re right Jordan, I am very irresponsible and my pranks are childish. I swear I won’t try this stuff on you again. I know I should’ve respected your privacy, and shouldn’t have woken you up, because sleep is very important.”
He looked at you in disbelief, but too tired to care, he shook your hand. “I’m glad we have an understan-”
You moved down, gripping on his forearm and yanked him down as you threw your legs over and around his neck, making him fall forward. You snatched the phone back as you sat comfortably on his bed, while he desperately tried to pull your legs away from his throat.
“Like that move? Taina showed me how to do it!” You said cheerfully, looking down as you turned on the phone. What you saw made you pause, and release your tight grip on the poor hard-breacher.
“Am… Am I your lockscreen?”
“You weren’t supposed to see that.” He rubbed at his throat while you examined the picture. It was you. It was the end of your first mission 3 years ago. After a victory, you had all gone out to eat. In the photo, you had several sauces covering your chin and lips, a sneaky picture. You looked like a 4 year old as you looked around the table in shock, being around so many people you looked up too. Including him.
“Jordan… why do you hate me?”
“I don’t. I just didn’t want to get close.”
“Why?”
“I didn’t want to risk losing you. You know what happens to people like us in these fields. Every mission is a 50/50 chance of living to see the next day.”
You helped Jordan up from the floor, “I like you too Jordan. And maybe if we went on more missions together, we could protect one another…”
He smiled down at you. “Yeah, I think that’ll work.”
You tossed the phone on the bedside table. He laid down and dragged you with him by curling his arms around your waist. That night, you slept comfortably.
In the morning, you still sent that embarrassing screenshot to the chat.

You watched as Gustave sighed and ran his hand through his hair. You and your love were both flooded with paperwork and patients. A mission gone wrong had injured (but thankfully not killed) several of your friends. When the helicopter landed and pulled out the injured on stretchers, you knew you’d be preoccupied for the next couple of days.
You and Gustave didn’t even have proper breaks. For the past 3 days, you both ate your meals in small bites between writing, and only slept an hour each day. And it wasn't at your beds! No, you both brought in pillows and slept on the desk uncomfortably. Back pain and errors in your writing became frequent.
“My love, did we eat yet?”
The scratching of his pen stopped as he thought for a moment, “Yes?”
“Nope, neither of you have.” Domonic stated as he adjusted himself in the bed. You nodded a thanks at the German operator before standing up. You told Gustave you would head out to the cafeteria to get some food for the both of you. He didn’t look up as he responded with a thanks.
When you reached the cafeteria, you asked if there was any coffee left. They let you take 4 disposable cups worth. The simple smell of the caffeinated drink made your mouth water. You grabbed the paper bags that held your meals and skipped over to your work area. You set down the paper bag and the two cups for him down on the small space that wasn’t littered in papers.
Before you left to your desk, he slinked his arm around your waist. He lifted up your unoccupied hand and planted a kiss on your knuckles. “My dear, as soon as this is over I’m going to spend every second letting you know how much I love you.”
“Yuck, get a room nasties!” Domonic called out as he flipped himself over to face the other side of his bed.
“Keep talking Dominic, I’ll shove a needle up your butt without hesitation!”
He turned his head to stick his tongue out at you.
The room stayed mostly quiet as you both kept working. Both of you did talk, but it was just simple: “Do you have another pen?”, “Dear, you spelled bone as b-o-r-e-n-e-r.”, “Wait how does that even happen?”, and “I think I bit my napkin instead of my chips…”.
It was now approaching 10 P.M, you had given out the last dose of pain relief medication for the day. All of your patients had fallen asleep. Gustave had shut off the fluorescent light and turned on the tiny cat lamp you gave him as a joke last Christmas. You chuckled at the memory. But a small notification bell from your emails distracted you. It was from Harry, ‘Oh boy, more work! How fun!’ However, when you opened and read through the email, tears of joy practically rushed out.
Dear Dr. Y/N and Dr. Kateb,
I realized you have both been under copious amounts of stress and work. I am sorry I had not had time to help. Starting tonight, I am sending two trusted friends of mine, do not fret about your patients, my friends are highly experienced in the medical field. You will be relieved of your work when my friends reach the base. Shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes. They understand their duties, and will try their best. Thank you both for your hard work. Once again, I am truly sorry for the lack of attention on my part.
Sincerely,
Harry Pandey.
You swiveled around in your chair, a single tear streaming down your cheek. Gustave heard you turned and looked to face you. Worry instantly painted his face, “What’s wrong?”
He stood the moment you began to walk towards him. You wrapped your arms around his neck and brought him down for a kiss, “We can go rest. Harry is sending other people to do our jobs!” You brought him down for another kiss. He chuckled as the door opened, revealing those who would take your place for the next few days.
After a short greeting and brief tour around the medical bay, you practically ran to the shared living space of you and your boyfriend. You both quickly showered and changed into sleepwear. You sat on the bed, brushing out the tangles while he stared at you from the bathroom door.
“What? Is there something on my face?” You pressed your fingers on your cheek, hoping to remove whatever there was. He just laughed and approached you.
“Just staring at the most beautiful person ever, is there anything wrong with that?”
You laughed lightly and pushed him back, “You’re such a flirt, Gustave.”
“I can be more flirtatious, want to hear me compare your beauty to the moon?”
“Oh shut up and come cuddle with me.”
“That sounds wonderful.”
He walked around and laid down, letting out a hum of appreciation to the soft mattress beneath him. He pulled you down, letting your head rest against his chest. You tossed an arm over his torso, letting the muffled beating of his heart soothe you.
“Thank you.”
“For what, Gustave?”
“For staying and helping me. I would’ve been there for weeks without your help.”
“It is our job to help others. But I swear if we get another situation like this, I will personally stab my own leg to get out of it. I mean, did you see how many times I had to help Ryad redo his bandages since he kept scratching his arm? Too many times, Gustave.”
In the middle of your rant, Gustave’s eyes had begun to droop. You pressed your hand against his cheek as you smiled. “Go to sleep, my love. You’ve worked so hard.” You reached over to the single source of light in the room.
You felt his grip on your waist, and his lips touch your forehead. “Goodnight, my love. Tomorrow we can go on a nice walk if you want, or just stuff our faces with food, either works.” His words grew into snores.
You chuckled, “Oh I know something we can do tomorrow. Hope you have a fuckton of condoms.”

You and Erik were an amazing combination. Almost as good as fuel, metal oxide, metal powder, and a little C4. Now, this week you were occupied with an important upcoming assignment. For the past couple of days, you were very unsocial. You were in and out of meetings each day, and practically had no time to hang out with your favorite operator.
And Erik had begun to miss you, each day he tried to talk to you, you had to rush to meet up again with your team for the mission briefing. Even at meal times, you could only stay for a couple of minutes. So, he decided to kill two birds with one stone. His plan was to clear your schedule for the day before you departed, and take you to a nice dinner. He wanted you to de-stress and have fun. And he wanted to finally ask you out.
He discovered his crush for you, after the first time you had saved his life. It touched his heart having someone care so much about him. He started to get to know you as you recovered in the medical bay. Ever since then, his affection for you had grown.
He got his plan approved by the leader of your mission. He was actually glad that Erik had asked, as he too noticed how stressed out you were. Now it was time for the hard part. Actually asking you out for dinner. Should he just casually ask? Or should he make it special? Would you even say yes? These questions ran through his head as he built up the courage to even knock on your door.
Just as he raised his fist, you opened the door. You stepped back, staring at his balled up hand. "Uhhh… I mean I'm ready for a friendly fight any day Erik, but right now is not the best time. Excuse me." You were heading to meet with Eliza, who was accompanying you on the long trip.
"Oh wait-No! I wasn't gonna hit you! I'm so sorry!"
You chuckled, "I know Erik, I was just joking."
"Yeah...right, so, um I wanted to know if…"
Preoccupied with the documents in your hands, you squinted at the several errors. Damnit. That meant more time in with Eliza. But thankfully, you had tomorrow off, for some reason. The leader of the assignment had allowed you to have a free day tomorrow, saying a pleasant surprise would be awaiting you. You didn't know what he was referring to, but at this point you were just excited to have a free day.
You fumbled with the rest of the papers, 'Who wrote these? A blind turtle?' Erick continued to stutter and blush as your face contorted into goofy, exasperated faces. This paperwork was maybe the worst you’ve ever seen! Your head snapped up, realizing your head had only grasped a few words from Erik’s talk. He was watching you with nervous eyes, awaiting your response. Your eyes widened. ‘Did he ask a yes or no question? Is he waiting for me to make a joke? WHAT DO I DO?’
“Haha, yeah buddy!”
“Oh! Thank god, I thought you would say no! Okay, wanna meet outside your favorite restaurant around 8 P.M tomorrow?”
“Of course!”
He gave you a smile and gave you a goodbye hug as you reached Eliza’s office. You hugged back and gave a short goodbye. You knocked on her door the moment he was out of sight. Eliza poked her head out, “Did Erik just leave?”
“Yeah, I feel so bad! I think he invited me out to a group dinner, I wasn’t paying attention at all!”
“Aww, he’s sweet. Now come here, I need to show you a picture of Jordan sleeping in a pile of his own puke!”

The following day passed rather quickly, at 7, you had already showered and done your hair. As you looked through your closet, you wore some simple light blue jeans and a tight hugging shirt. You were satisfied with your outfit choice. For the remainder of the time you just sat on your bed, scrolling through Twitter.
On the other side of the base, Erik had panicked at the lack of more formal fitting clothes. He had, what? Maybe like 2 shirts that weren’t wrinkly? He had resorted to asking Marius for a nice, black, button-up shirt. It fit him pretty well, and went nicely with the rest of his outfit.
When 8 rolled around, Erik had already reserved a table for the both of you, and was waiting outside. When you showed up, he was… rather surprised at your choice of clothing. Maybe you weren’t taking this as seriously as he was? Was he just a tad bit too nervous? But the nerves washed away as you shone a bright smile to him. In the moment, he was happy you showed up.
You both were seated and after a couple of minutes, he asked if you were ready to pick your food. “But shouldn’t we wait for the others?” Oh, the dear sweet innocent smile on your face was so different from Eriks confused face.
“I’m… I’m sorry, who?”
“The others. I’m really sorry, but yesterday I was a bit distracted… Is this not a group outing?”
“No. I asked you-”
“Wait, are we on a date right now???”
Erik practically felt his soul get crushed.
“Wait no, that came out wrong okay let me try again. Erik, I am so sorry. I should’ve paid more attention. I’d love to go on a date with you! Well I mean we are right now, so, I love this date!”
Erik chuckled, “Y’know, I’m starting to regret asking you out.”
“Take that back, or this fork will go somewhere the sun don't shine!”
The next thing Erik whispered had caused you to spit out your food, and make blood rush to your face. “Oh, I got something I’m gonna stick where the sun don’t shine.”
“Erik! Pervert!”
The both of you spent the rest of the night laughing and talking away. By 10, you suggested you should both head back, as you had to wake up early tomorrow to leave for the mission. He escorted you to your room when you both reached the base.
"Thank you for tonight Erik, and I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention."
"Hey, don't worry about it. I know you were stressed."
You bit your lip as the intensity in Erik's eyes grew. He lifted his hand and cupped your cheek. He stooped down, pressing his lips firmly against yours. After the shock faded, you began to kiss back. Your lips missed his the moment he had pulled away.
“Well, I guess I should head to my room, I can’t be keeping you awake for too long.” He gave you a long embrace and started walking away. As he turned the corner, he could hear the sound of your shoes tapping against the cold tiles.
He whipped around the moment you pressed your lips against him again. Oh boy. Tonight would last a little longer than expected. He picked you up, grabbing your thighs and began to kiss you with more hunger. Without dropping you, he walked back to your room. He kicked the door closed when he was in.
He tossed you down on the bed, unbuttoning his shirt as he stared you down. You moved yourself to sit at the edge of the bed, facing him as you reached up to unbuckle his jeans. But before you could pull them down, he gripped down tightly on your wrists,
"Tonight is about you, you have to relax." You nodded slowly. He pushed you back down, climbing on top. He began kissing your lips, travelling down to your neck as his kisses became sloppier.
He tugged at the bottom of your shirt. You arched your back to help him remove the tight article of clothing. His sloppy kisses became nips and bites, which would leave marks that littered your neck and chest the following day. He took off your bra with ease, sucking and biting on your left breast. After a minute he trailed down, stopping just above where your jeans touched your skin.
"Y/N, are you sure you wanna continue? What if you're late tomorrow?"
"Erik, you're amazing and super caring but if you don't put your mouth on me right now, I swear-"
"What, what are you gonna do, huh?" His demeanor had changed, an evil smirk danced across his face. The look in his eye was anything but innocent. He unbuttoned your jeans, yanking them down forcefully. You gasped as the cold air touched your now exposed parts. He ran his hands up your thighs. With a simple tug he managed to spread open your legs.
The following moments were pure euphoria. He skillfully ran his tongue through your wet slit. You cried out and tangled your hands into his dirty blond hair. The more arousal that leaked from you, he happily cleaned up with his tongue.
Your hips jerked upwards, accompanied by growing moans. Erik moved back, biting down on your thigh as you attempted to calm down.
“Erik… please…” Your eyes were filled with lust for the man that towered over you.
He placed one hand down on your stomach. The other hand had travelled to your wet core. He started off with one finger, pushing into you gently and allowing you to adjust. His second finger followed shortly after. You dug your nails into his tattooed arm, letting out soft moans and gasps.
You’re overwhelmed with pleasure, a thin sheet of sweat was covering you. Your moans grew louder and more frequent. You could begin to feel yourself come undone. You reached up for his shoulder, pulling him down for a messy kiss as you came on his fingers. You pulled back with a loud gasp. He chuckled at your red, flustered face.
“Are you ready?”
You gave a cute weak nod. He removed the rest of his clothing, stroking himself for a second before guiding himself at your entrance. He pushed in rather slowly, letting you adjust to his size before quickening his pace.
After a while, a sheen of sweat coated his body too. He leaned down, keeping a steady pace as he went back to biting and pulling at your skin.
“E-Erik,” Your pleased moans encouraged him to move even faster. You were quickly muffled by Erik pushing his lips against your mouth, drinking you in. Your hands found their way to his back, dragging against his skin. You left bright red streaks, so immersed that you didn’t notice the minor damage you caused.
He grunted out your name over and over again as he pulled away from your lips. Compliments spilled from his mouth, telling you how pretty you looked under him. He pushed away the stray hairs that stuck to your face and caressed your cheek, chuckling at the sensual expression that coated your face.
“I-I’m gonna…” You could barely form a sentence as his thrusts became sloppier and less frequent.
“Me too…Fuck you feel so good.”
Your moans melted together, his eyes seemed distant, absolutely loving how warm and tight you felt around him. To him, you were perfect. He felt lucky to be able to expose you. He loved how easily you submitted to him.
He once again moved down, this time kissing at the valley between your breasts and moved up, stopping at your lips. His tongue pushed past, tangling with yours. He could feel your walls tightening up against him. He knew you were about to finish. He was close too.
As you came around his cock, you cried out his name as if it was the only word you knew. He followed shortly after you, coating your insides with his cum.
He pulled out slowly, collapsing beside you. The both of you were breathing heavily, enjoying the last couple seconds of euphoria. He tangled his hand with yours after he caught his breath, “That was the best night of my life.”
You were hardcore blushing. The realization of your nakedness had you wanting to wrap up in the blankets, “Y-Yeah, thanks for the date and… that.”
He chuckled at your shyness. He turned his head to the side, watching as your face grew brighter than a Christmas light.
“You’re adorable, Y/N.”
“Shut up!”
He turned to face the clock on your bedside table. An hour had blown by, he cursed at himself for keeping you up so late. He turned back over to see your eyes drooping significantly. He laughed lightly at your sleepy form. He pressed a kiss against your forehead before curling up with you.
The next day, you were rushing late to the helicopter that would take you to your mission. Eliza was waiting outside with her arms crossed. Your marked up neck had left enough for the imagination.
“So I’m guessing it wasn’t a group outing?”
A light tinge of red coated your cheeks as you pulled yourself up into the helicopter. “Uh-No it definitely was not.”
