It’s been a long busy week. I’ve walked/run every day, yayyy, and I started weight watchers again. I was not as good as I could had been as one day I went to Dairy Queen, well, that one little treat had more points than one whole day worth of points. But it’s ok. Yesterday David ordered Chinese food. Points is not horrible but it’s not good, especially when you’re starting the diet. Oh and let’s not forget the donut I ate yesterday morning too! I have to do a bit better.
Monday and Tuesday I did all the shopping for everything I needed. Thursday Express employment told me that they had a job for me and Friday morning they called me and asked me if I could start that same morning, so I started working there at about 9:45 until 5. I am kind of worried, this whole thing with starting new jobs doesn’t settle well with me. Hopefully it’ll do fine this coming week as I believe this job could become a permanent one.
Friday, there was a parade downtown, it was very low key but we had a lot of fun. Saturday we helped out at a color race. I was beat by the time we came back and dirty, mostly with orange powder. Today we’re just taking it easy. Have to go to Walmart later. My CHI is dying and now I have to buy another flat iron. I’ve had it for at least ten years.
In one of my walks I made a friend, a cute Siamese cat that started walking beside me. She has a collar and looks very well taken care of, but I’m afraid that someone will come by and steal her as she’s so friendly.
The yard is looking better with all the flowers blooming. We did chopped a tree that was too close to the house and it’s looking better.
I went for a walk late this morning and they were not kidding. It went from cold temperatures to very humid hot weather. I would like to say that it’s more humid than Arkansas. But hey, I am not complaining. I’ll take it. The squirrels stole the show, they were just so funny, this squirrels are a little crazy lol.
Got some of my summer clothes out bit I still have to switch them. I also need to put all the dishes back in the hutch. We decided (after I moved everything out) that we will wait until after Andrew and family come this weekend. Then I’ll have to do it all over again. But what we want to do is get the wallpaper off, paint and remove the carpet all at the same time that way we don’t have to move everything again.
The heating and cooling company where I worked last for 2 weeks want me to go back this week starting tomorrow. And they’ll pay me more. Maybe they’ll give me more work after Andrew goes back to Arkansas. We’ll see. They seem to be pretty busy.
