We’re already onto season 2!
Let’s watch 2.01 “Under Pressure.”
I said recently that hearing Billy Joel’s “Under Pressure” in that opening montage gets me super excited every time. I think season 2 as a whole is probably one of my fave seasons.
Just noticed the city worker (whose colleague has their arm ripped off by the drain cover) is the same city worker who discovers the crack in the dam in 4.01!
Bathena being all hot and heavy between the engines!
Hen definitely had the better calendar title.
This episode reintroduced me to Salt N Pepper when it first aired and I’ve listened to “Whatta Man” a least once a month since.
Eddie “Eight Pack” Diaz!
I was sure that the guy with the air nozzle in his leg was based on a real case. I was alarmed at how many people have been injured or killed by either accidental or intentional (👀) insertion when I googled it.
I love that Buck can’t handle the idea that Eddie doesn’t have/want a nickname lol.
I think this is one of the last scenes where Buck or Bobby do anything majorly medical. To be fair now they have Hen, Chim and Eddie so they wouldn’t need to anymore.
Poor Buck thinking he’d come home to his absent girlfriend surprising him and instead gets full eyeball at his naked sister. And flashes her himself 😂

Oliver has put on some muscle between a seasons 1 & 2.

I don’t like how Buck spoke to Eddie about respecting his elders. Especially as we never saw Buck being treated like a probie and he didn’t respect his elders all that much himself.
“What are we measuring here, Buck?.” Sometimes Buck really does need to be called out for his silliness.
Theres something quite hot about the phrase “I’m familiar with the ordinance.” Not sure what that says about me lol
Poor Chim! I would absolutely buy a Chim calendar!
I love that Athena opened up about what it’s like to be divorced as a black woman and the stigma that comes with that. I get why Bobby got pissed off, but I think he should have stayed and listened to her instead of saying “nobody is gonna think and if they do who cares.” Her feelings are entirely valid on the subject, as a woman and as a black woman.
Ah the Jackass-style jackasses! Although I did laugh at the Ghost movie reference with the cement lol.
Sorry Bobby but that was a really lame kick of the phone into the pool lol.
I like that Athena and Micheal can discus their relationships now.

One of my absolute favourite things about Buck and Maddies relationship is that he never treats her like a damsel that needs saving. She confesses to being abused by Doug and every other brother in every other tv show would be threatening to kill him. Buck doesn’t do that, instead giving space for her to decide what she wants and he helps to facilitate that. His respect for her is so evident and it’s wonderful to watch their relationship 🩶.
Oh I totally forgot Linda’s first episode is the same as Maddies!
Earthquake! I love that 911’s big disasters are never finale eps like most other shows and usually the end of the 1st episode of a season.
