if buck is acquiring a child, I hope chris has complicated jealous feelings about what it means for his own place in buck's life, and the tension gets resolved by eddie and buck reaffirming that they are a family

(preferably after eddie talks to all the other older siblings he knows to ask them if they resented their younger siblings gatecrashing their lives when they were kids. honestly the year buck buckley has had…….. his dad died, his situationship moved back from texas, he bought (?) a house, chased a squatter out of his attic, dodged athena like 6 times while helping her son get into the fire academy, hooked up with a married couple, helped his friend overcome a deadly illness, dealt with the presumed abduction of his teenage kid, his situationship picked up a stalker then his sister bought an auction date with him, found out his parents were getting a divorce, lost the firefighter olympics, struck out with leann rimes, got his flight canceled, got kidnapped by a serial killer, almost died, developed a debilitating opioid dependency, detoxed, got put on leave, almost lost his job, and now he’s probably about to meet his son who he didn’t know existed until now. while getting electrocuted. like.
