HEN, BUCK, AND EDDIE CHEATING ON THEIR PARTNERS IS OUT OF CHARACTER.

Eddie's is the only one that makes sense and even then they didn't do the mental toll that lead to it any justice, which is what makes it out of character.

Hello, I'm going to rant a bit and point out a flaw in the timeline. Forgive me.

I have the privilege of being born the same day as Harry Grant (I know, I'm the coolest), and he should be in college the day he asks Buck to help him get into the academy. I know I was.

Harry would have graduated (from high school) somewhere before or after the first few episodes, granted again that the timeline is correct.

So, I am a little confused. Couldn't they have done a gap year sort of storyline, where Harry is working before going to college, and he is struggling, like May, to have a reason to go? Then he ends up becoming a firefighter?

Not saying that dropping out of high school wasn't a poignant story for him; it was a call to the neglect he felt and the inadequate power he had in his life. I think any kid my age feels they aren't treated seriously enough and wants to be the writer of their own story.

Beyond any of this, I do think having him have a quote-unquote incomplete education is a great thing to have on our screens. Education is important, but you don't have to buy into a multibillion-dollar industry of misery, like I did, to be qualified or lead a happy life. And I love that for Harry.

I've mentioned it before but I wanna talk about it again.

The fact that Maddie gave Buck her Jeep, one of her only forms of freedom so he could be free, so he could get away.

So he could be happy.

I will forever talk about this and how Buck was her first baby.

That's her kid.

That she loved enough to give up her own freedom so he could have his.

They mean so much to me.

Do you think Buck told Chimney all about Phineas Gage after he healed from the rebar to his skull?

Cause I think he did.

And I think Chimney faked most of his annoyance but was a bit endeared by how much of an excited Puppy Buck looked when he told him about it.

9x18: “Hearts and Flowers”:

This episode was “so thrilling from beginning to end” because it should’ve actually been two episodes.

1. ⁠I did like how fast-paced it was even though again, if it was a two-parter it wouldn’t have lost pace

2. ⁠Eddie needed a coma dream way more than Athena did. Waaay more. Also he needed a deeper conversation with Buck, and with someone else like Hen, for example.

3. ⁠I love that Buck got Theo in the end!!! I’m so excited and I look forward to Chris meeting him and to the Buckley-Diaz family! I’m more than ok with the show hand waving Buck adopting/fostering/becoming Theo’s legal guardian because he’ll stick around and we can revisit many things, but

4. ⁠The immigrant storyline? That one needed to be a lot more fleshed out. I feel like ABC chickened out.

5. ⁠“Everybody here has children or is a child except for us two” Harry. You’re a peer of Denny and Chris. The second you turned 18 you dropped out of high school. And your mom, is in fact, there. You’re one of the children in that party.
