now i'm watching another video about the "A button challenge" for super mario 64 and there's this excellent graph:
such a great chart. so much to absorb, so many things to google. i don't plan on ever doing speedruns or button challenges but i love to hear about it
daily routine
What fuckery is this? All to avoid jumping?
(Mod note: Con was great, though I have a massive headache. Also I'm subjecting you to one of my other hyperfixations for Mario Day)
HE DID IT! Mario 64 can now be finished without using the A button, at least on the Wii VC :D
So remember that video of the guy during Watch For Rolling Rock in super mario 64 in 0.5 A presses? Well, they and the whole team working on the A button challenge just lowered the count from 19 A presses to 16, and there are plans that are getting closer to completion that would lower it again to 14 or even 13. 13.
