Nightwatch Fresh is a cultist. He worships the host god.
Quick review of god lore there are three gods that represent aspects of the fandom. Creating and writing aus, entertaining readers and fans, and the destruction/ stagnation of fandom.
The host god is the god of entertaining readers. Their primary focus is to keep us interested and it functions as a way to funnel readers into becoming new creators for the multiverse- thus sustaining the life of the fandom. He also has dominion over the *fanon space* which is essentially a collective world of dreams where anything can happen and readers may interact with characters (ex: askers/anons interacting with characters like ask error.)
Fresh is a high ranking host cultist, he worships entertainment and uses the benefits of the host gods magic to warp reality in ways that encourage viewers to watch him. He hunts people down that have the potential to be interesting for fanon stories and kidnaps them- cursing them to fall into a permanent coma where their mind is owned and will forever reside within the fanon space.
He also is used to check up on fan favourites of the host god- like error. Error definitely doesn’t remember the deal he made with the host god (he has severe constant amnesia cause of his corruption) but he made a deal a while ago to be used by anons for entertainment because he was chronically alone and isolated and didn’t really want to die without people by his side.
Anyways, Fresh not only enjoys entertaining people on a meta level but likes to entertain on a smaller level in the omegatimeline. Hence him owning a clown themed dubiously ethical “pizza” restaurant. Error works there because- well corrupteds are segregated from what jobs they can have and with Fresh offering a decent job to him he takes it immediately.
The rest is pretty spoilery but I hope that should suffice. Summary- fresh is a cultist similar to what ink is in nightwatch, he worships entertainment, he takes advantage of errors social status and mental disability to influence him, he owns “pizza”.
I guess a fun fact about the pizza is the workers don’t know where the pizza comes from. They have a kitchen but they only make fries really. No pizza. The restaurant is called “Friday freshtastic pizza” and that’s true because all the pizza for the week appears on Friday. If you have a pizza from last week and it hits midnight the last fridays pizza turns to black soot in your hands.
I promise fresh is an interesting character. He’s very dangerous but yk cool nonetheless
