first point: michael and satan’s relationship
yes they definitely fight but most of the conflict between them stems from the fact that satan was willing to fall for his defiance and michael just didn’t - either he was too loyal to the big man, or he just couldn’t bring himself to follow satan. that created a real divide between them and neither knows how to bridge the gap. they’ll fight one another, yes, but neither one genuinely wants to harm the other - an eternity of repeating loops does that.
if/when michael does fall, he’s utterly overwhelmed by how much these little meat bags (humans) which he mocked in the past are capable of feeling - maybe just enough so that satan takes pity on him. they’re also both very competitive, which you could write off as them both trying to be the best, when they really just want to get the other’s attention and grow close again. they are brothers, after all - twins, as the right and left hands of god, so to speak.
second point: the other angel’s relationships
alright so we know a good portion of them joined satan when he rebelled, but the issue wasn’t so black and white. maybe some of the ones who chose to fall with satan did it simply because they wished to escape and were tired of fighting. maybe some wanted to be free of heaven’s control. and the ones that stayed behind - many probably refused to leave because of loyalty to other angels.
on some level, i imagine all angels are aware of the loops, and each has different reactions. some turn themselves to marble or other mediums as sculpture, unable to bare it. some are resigned and eek out peaceful, bearable lives each time. and some who were cast out of heaven on a whim, either for coming into contact with satan or simply speaking out, are bitter and enraged at both sides, their own earthshattering emotions increased tenfold in intensity by the potency of their human forms. still others who fell during the first battle remain loyal to satan, perhaps even turning into demons of a sort themselves.
the angels who do live as humans tend to gravitate towards one another. not in any way you’d notice, but more of a general thing. perhaps they live in the same city, attend the same schools, frequent the same locations all over the world. so when people say a place is “holy” and erect statues (some of which could be actual slumbering angels), the actual angels visit there, just to see if what the humans claim is true.
Regardless of the song (lol) can I just say I’m so proud of the Yueha boys for finally debuting ??? Especially Zhengting and Justin since they were such. babies. in p101 and look at them now!
