a rundown place with barely enough money to keep the flickering lights on

stains held memories on the tables and the decor must've been decades old

yet, it was his favorite place to be

somewhere far away from the ruckus at the manor

just his little haven at this little getaway diner

you had stumbled in for directions

this diner didn’t have any good service and the phone booths looked like they came out of a time machine

lovestruck! Brian claims it was love at first sight

the waitresses were mean because the pay wasn’t good

ignored you at every question

so, Brian simply couldn’t help himself when you just seemed so lost and confused

“mm, you lost, dollface?” Brian asked, a sly grin played on his face

you nodded eagerly

this stranger in front of you looked like he knew his way around a forest so of course you’d agree

it was adorable

he couldn’t have his newfound interest go wandering off and get killed by one of his coworkers as if he’d let that happen

“aw, im sorry, dolly. I can drive you to my house for the night and I can fix your tires in the morning?”
