The person he trusted just left him, never to return. He’s been waiting over 3 months at the shelter for a hero. We NEED to find a committed foster for Guinness or experienced adopter. This stunning boy, who calmly wagged his tail when I met him, will simply run out of time when the shelter runs out of space. We must get Guinness out this week so his last walk out of his kennel will be one to freedom vs. to the room when he will take his final breath. If your rescue wants to help Guinness, Private donors have added substantial pledges to a foster based, transparent/trustworthy 501c3 rescue to help a rescue to either get him training or pay a foster if need be. He’s neutered, vaccinated, & he must leave. GUINNESS #A509482 (Moreno Valley, CA) Neutered Male, black & tan German Shepherd Dog mix. I am about 3 years old. I weigh approximately 65.60 lbs. I have been at the shelter since Mar 22, 2021 STAFF NOTES: 05/08/21 Took Guinness to play yard for video & exerrcise. He did great & had no issues but he is a little unsettling in that he doesn't show normal dog behavior. His mouth is closed more than open, wags just a little but not into wiggling. Tongue doesn't hang out & he will stare into your eyes. All these are red flags but he doesn't act on them. He's been a good boy, playful & did well with temp test. He’s done well every time we have interacted w/him with the same comment, freezes, stares but does not try to bite. Not normal behavior for a happy dog but not everyone is normal. Would recommend rescue or an experienced owner & no children. ml 04/15/21 Temp tested with A509469 spayed female Labrador mix.
