Daisy ended up getting adopted but Delilah, the friendly outgoing sister, is still in need and now in the shelter almost 2 months. Without someone to love her & a place to feel safe, nothing else matters. She’s been in the shelter 2 months. She desperately needs a wonderful new home 🏡 Though Delilah came in with her sister, she's been temperament tested with another dog & was reactive to him as well as other dogs outside of her kennel. We’ve been trying for months to find someone to save SUKI #A509264 and Delilah #A509523 to no avail. Both people friendly, fun, sweet girls, but don’t care for other dogs. Both have amazing pledges (over $1000 each) available to top notch, transparent & reputable 501c3 rescues + donor offering additional funding as a training sponsorship (contact us for details) - the missing link is a long term, committed foster for a rescue to help them. It’s been over 4 months… since I came into the shelter, since I watched my sister get adopted, that I’ve been looking at these same kennel walls, watching the people just walk past me like I’m invisible. I immediately get so excited when someone stops to see me, and when I get to go in the yard to play & cuddle, I am happy as a clam. Yet for over 4 months, I’ve failed to capture anyone’s heart, anyone’s attention. I just want a home where I can be the only pet and I will thank you every day for choosing me. I will cuddle with you, watch scary movies with you, play with you, go for walks with you. I will be your BFF. I’ve been here so long, trying so hard to be noticed, and no one wants me 💔 I so badly want a forever home… it’s what I dream 😴 of every night. Good girl. ml 04/23/21 due to her dog reactiveness, recommend no other dog, Experienced owner or rescue only. ml 04/15/21 Temp tested with A509480 neutered male St. Bernard mix. Both were reactive to each other almost immediately & reactive when walking other dogs by them in their kennels. Wonderful dogs by themselves with people but they did not do well with dog to dog. ml Update: 04/07/21 Sweet & loving girl, very playful. Will chase toys but not really interested in bringing them back. Loves belly rubs. She walks well on her leash but does not like other dogs outside of her kennel. 🆘🆘 MUST EXIT THIS WEEK 🆘🆘 We have been begging for an adopter or foster for weeks. Her sister was adopted months ago. Delilah has the fun, outgoing, playful personality yet no one wants her. She submissively greets you at her kennel, so happy someone is stopping to say hello. She’s a young dog with her entire life ahead of year, but she’s about to lose it after waiting 3 months. But, nothing, no one. And now her time is up. 🥺 Delilah is dog reactive to other dogs so she needs a foster or adoptive home where she can share all her affection with humans. If your rescue wants to help sweet Delilah, Private donors have added pledges to a foster based, transparent/trustworthy 501c3 rescue to help a rescue to either get her training or pay a foster if need be.
