Reblog if you miss the people you met at anime conventions

Attention cosplayers!
So I found a nice little website with a listing of cons in the New England area, aka, drivable distance.
http://animecons.com/events/state.shtml/ZZ002
So far ConBust, Anime Boston, and ConnectiCon are the ones I'm doing for sure...but I'd love to do them all.
AAC friends! Going to any of these?
Another Anime Convention (AAC) - Zelda Skit (by Pixyl)
It's finally up! One of the fan favorites.
I'll still be posting the good ones on Tumblr ofc, but here's where I'm dumping all of them, no matter how terrible. And lemme tell you, some of them are TERRIBLE.
So far I only have AAC 2012 up (almost all of it's Pokemon...), but I'll try and get the rest of my cons from the past couple years up as well!! And maybe some of my Nikkormat/just for fun photos...
Go forth and tag!! And like the page to keep up with... I don't know. But I post photos there and you might be in them and even if you aren't OTHER AWESOME PEOPLE ARE.

AAC - ALPACAS! BOOTLEGS!
I got a confirmation everybody, the alpacas are safe, but they're definitely bootleg. I've got a story here from a buyer who asked why they where so cheap, and he came out and said "There's a guy in america who makes them"
I'm going to stop this right here. SOMEONE IN AMERICA MAKES THEM. WHEN THEY HAVE STICKERS ON THEM THAT SAY MADE IN CHINA AND ASIAN LETTERING ON THE TAGS!? HOW STUPID CAN A VENDOR BE?!
Don't think that "oh now they're safe, I'll go buy some" is a good idea, the person making these bootlegs could be doing this to gain the people's trust before they switch it over to dangerous material.
But I did get confirmation from someone who opened up their 5 alpacas to make sure they weren't filled with asbestos (bless their soul <3) and they are safe (probably because if it was made here, he had no access to asbestos and he could be tracked easier for health issues here in America)
I'm currently in contact with the con chair about this vendor and dear god I don't think she has a clue about what's going on. She tried to guilt trip me by saying she'll need all new vendor staff because they felt like they where yelled at all weekend. WELP, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR SELLING BOOTLEGS AT YOUR CONVENTION AND NOT DOING A THING ABOUT IT!
Also, just because this guy has a table at AB DOES NOT MEAN he's a reliable person, AB's vendor room is FULL of bootlegs. So unless he had a table at, oh, I dunno, ANIMAINE, then I'm not trusting this guy.
She also mentioned that if they where to remove all the bootlegs, they'd have to kick out the artists who where selling fanart as well.
NOW HOLD ON A SECOND
This guy is taking things and selling them, claiming they are official items.
The artists are making money off of similar aspects, BUT THEY DO NOT CLAIM THAT THEY ARE OFFICIAL PRODUCTS!
There is a BIG difference here. It's between money going to an artist or money YOU THINK might be going to the anime industry, but instead goes to selfish people who are destroying anime in America.
Princess Zelda AAC 2012 by *EpicLevelSorcerer
One very lovely Princess Zelda cosplay that I met on the first day of the convention, really just an hour being there and I run into her. She and one other girl there both had really the best Zelda cosplays I've seen. I mistook this girl for the other one because of it. Princess Zelda - The beautiful [link]
