Was anyone else struck by how much it wasn’t just the community that saved Lisa, but that it’s so clearly also the women who are doing heavy work to save her?

Yes, David, Robert, Kevin among others are seen helping.

But it’s Tracy that sounds the alarm. Carla who screams we need to move this car now. The she’s the one calling the 3-2-1 lift orders. Cassie, Tracey, Abi are visible lifting, Moira calls for Chas to help. Abi slips into the car to pop it in neutral, Moira throws her shoulder to the door frame pushing. There is absolutely no “gather the men, and let them take care of it.”

A bunch of middle aged women with help from some of their male friends and neighbors pulled a car out of a ditch and up the road to save that lesbian.

Why do I have a feeling that James will be so down in the dumps about missing Laila and Dee-Dee, that he'll eventually slip up and sleep with Carl? I just feel like that's how it's going to go. He already sent a drunk text once. There was an almost kiss at Halloween. And Carl would no doubt want another round with James. I genuinely think he's more into James than he is into Abi just because James doesn't have a kid (any more, sorry James) and thus is more "free" for Carl to do things with (and also forbidden fruit, much like Abi was pre-affair).
