Seeing Brody again was great and just reminded me how much better suited he would be for Betsy, storyline wise. Dylan is a sweet kid, but he’s still such a kid. Betsy feels older than him and not just because the actress is older in real life.

And this isn’t a “oh Brody is a bad boy Betsy likes bad boys”. I genuinely believe Brody is going to have very interesting arcs as he struggles to stay on a non-violent/non-thieving path. Dylan is boring in that yeah he’s a nice lad, but he’s capable of dark things to like what he did to Liam. It’s like they are opposites, Dylan is “good” but can do bad, Brody is “bad” but can go good. And Betsy floats between them.

But I honestly don’t think Betsy would ever have dated him if they didn’t have the shared Mason connection.

I think Betsy truly loved Mason and she’s not interested in falling in love again or having anything “serious” with anyone for a long time.

I think Dylan would marry her in a heartbeat though, so that’s gonna br a problem real soon.

Also, did anyone catch that shot Of Alya watching as Betsy told Leanne to give Dylan the job? I wondered at that shot, is Alya going to approach Betsy about an office assistant job at the firm? I just thought hmm, her expression seemed interested in what Betsy did there but ask maybe I’m giving Corrie too much credit.
