Hello fellow worms!!!!
Soil. Dirt. Rocks. Wiggles.
Now that I have your attention, I hope your exam seasons are going swimmingly. Sometimes I find my study motivation waning around this time, especially when I don't have a community to be a part of to motivate me or friends to study with. Admittedly, one of the reasons for my sparse posting has been the result of feeling isolated at my university, thus killing my motivation to study.
Nonetheless, we prevail! Here is a study tip which has pretty much carried me through my academic journey:
Study tip!!!
Creating a study journal! Make entries whenever your motivated wanes. Talk about what's bothering you and blocking you from studying. Troubleshoot your issues in bullet points. Reflect upon your last exam. What's missing? What do you need? Set up systems for when you fall into pitfalls. What types of breaks rejuvenate you? What steps do you take when you're frustrated?
It's a very simple tip, but every time I write, I find the strength to study again.
Take care!
