Longowal Group Of Colleges, Derabassi celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2025, underlined by this year’s theme, “Accelerate Action” which calls for rapid action towards gender equality.
The event witnessed the presence of college students and faculties. Mrs. Kanta Katyal, Chairperson of Longowal Group of Colleges and Ms. Rajni Chadha, a successful entrepreneur and socialist were the special guests of the day.
Dr. Rosy Katyal (Principal) delivered a greeting speech applauding all women achievers. She asserted that ‘Women’s day’ is celebrated to honour the women’s achievements and acknowledge their significant contribution to the society.
Various performances like dance, songs, and speeches were given by the students. Fungames further added to the joy and excitement.
