URL Change

Hi everyone! I have a new URL. accidentalapostate has served me well, but it had way too many syllables I’m super pumped to use this name that was handcrafted by a dear friend of mine. ;D Ready to continue doing the Maker’s work.

Thank you! Yes I am still doing these <3. Tropes: Pregnancy Fic & Magical Accidents. Oh boy. There are a couple of ways this could go, like magical birthcontrol gone wrong or strange fade sex, but hmm, I don’t think it would be considered a true trope outside the fandom?

So. I’m going to toss in another (old) fandom trope...

This takes place when Solas and Iwyn are already in a relationship. Due to some magical mishap (spell gone wrong? strange artifact?) Solas turns into a women, and Iwyn turns into a man. Now, they are working pretty hard on getting things back to normal. It is not simple, however, and their initial solutions fail. Obviously they end up having sex at some point, but they both forget about birthcontrol - I always think there there are some Thedas tea/herbs that work as birthcontrol and maybe Iwyn still drinks it out of habit, but it doesn’t work when she is a man, of course. Or maybe Solas know some spells that makes sure he doesn’t get anyone pregnant, but he doesn’t know the female version? 

In any case, Solas ends up pregnant ! Oh no! Everyone freak out! Except of course Iwyn doesn’t freak out much, because that is how she rolls. Just a... minor freak out. To Solas this is a pretty big freakout, because they are just about to kill Corypheous and what about the PLan?? 

In the end it means he tells Iwyn *everything* and she forgives him, and she wants his - their baby? and everything is very EMOTIONAL, especially Solas, because pregnancy (which is also kinda required for a pregnancy trope?). Iwyn take very good care of him, of course she is very good and patient at this. They do find a solution for switching back, but now they have to wait! And Iwyn has to figure out her changed body to go kick Corypheous ass, but she manages. They can’t switch just Iwyn because magic?

In the end Solas gives birth to a healthy baby, they switch back, and they live happily ever after, with ‘go ask your mother’ being hilarious.

This is clearly over the top, lol I am sorry. But there it is 

yes I am aware that genderswitch fics can have a bunch of issues and many applications of the tropes are... not always good, so I would probably not actually write this, but I hope you all had a laugh.

Merrill or Leliana?

Leliana, all day any day. Logically speaking, I understand that Merrill is an adult, but her behavior reads very immature to me AND she’s this tiny young-looking woman. I never could romance her in-game for that reason. I feel like I’m dating a kid and I just can’t.

Leliana: Your go-to karaoke song. I’ve never really done karaoke..? I do sing to myself a lot though, and the songs that seem to come back on their own are Hoist the Colors from Pirate of the Caribbean, and the theme from Pan’s Labyrinth!

A rift opens in spacetime, connecting you to your muse.  It’s just big enough for you to send a small care package through–nothing that’ll alter the course of their path (it’s very arbitrary magic, so spoilers on what to do next and other win buttons will get fried), but enough to let them know that they’re loved and can have nice things.  [For those who like more precise parameters - the rift will remain open indefinitely until you can fill the package and will seal once you pass it through, but you can’t interact with it in any other way.]  What do you place in the package?
