Holmes is always some sort of ace in my opinion, no matter how else you interpret his sexuality/relationships, and every single flavor of ace Holmes is so so important to me.

Aroace Holmes who never feels incomplete without romance because he found lifelong happiness and fulfillment with his best friend.

Demisexual Holmes who has never had sex before because he’s never been attracted to anyone, so when he’s suddenly attracted to Watson he has no idea what to do with those feelings.

Gay Ace Holmes who enjoys sex with Watson simply because he enjoys the intimacy of it and likes how happy it makes his partner.

Gay Ace sex repulsed Holmes who finds his own ways to show his Watson how much he loves him and never feels obligated to force himself into a sexual relationship because he’s found a partner who respects and understands him.

As someone on the ace spectrum who read these books as a kid, it’s so important to me that so many ace kids read Sherlock Holmes and immediately see themselves in him. Ace Holmes you will always be SO famous

I've always been think that is funny the idea of Watson trying to be Holmes's cupid; like his violet hunterxholmes ship and I think he would have tried discreetly (not really, it was very obvious) to introduce him to some girl to see if they would come out.

It did not happen obvious and I think that even Holmes could come out of the closet just with the hope that his bff stops but in fact it would make everything worse: Watson trying to leave him alone with Hopkins and winking at him or an unexpected visit came to Holmes (Victor Trevor) 😂 and who knows what happens eh

Btw even from a perspective where Holmes is not interested in having a romantic relationship with anyone I think after a while they would have a serious talk where Watson would respect his wishes but of course he would still worry about the idea that his friend is "alone" so he would give away to Holmes a puppy (or a cat) 😌❤

At the time I started the show (I was 13), I didn't know what aspec identities were, but I knew I was different and I knew I identified with ASIP Sherlock very very deeply when I first watched BBC's Sherlock, and the fact that, while he became more "human" by the end of s4, he also didn't have a concrete love interest at the end. This had really calmed my anxieties towards my (a)sexuality, and is an example of why we need diverse representation in the media.

(Side note: it is my own hc that Sherlock is aro/ace. You can have your own thoughts and opinions. I know he loves John, and they definitely were Husbands™️ in the end, and I ship Johnlock just as much as the next fan. But I don't think his love necessarily came from a romantic or sexual stance. This is just a part of my story, because I am really tired of the aphobia on my dash. There are toooonnns of other reasons why we need aspec representation)

BIO:

Born to an upper middle class English family, Ace never wanted for much. While spoiled, he wasn't a problematic child and always kept himself humble, enjoying helping others. With his mother being one of the top pianists in England, it was no surprise that at the age of four he began learning the piano, and went on to learn several other instruments.

Of course, with his connections, a young Ace attended only the best schools, opting for more musically inclined primary schools and upper forms. He graduated top of his class two years early and began his University years. They went by smoothly and upon graduation, he was approached by one of his professors to be the new music advisor at Kennington Academy. 

Teaching students about something he's so passionate about has always been Ace's dream. He loves the idea of changing lives with music the way his was. While his looks are a bit eccentric, he tends to get along with students of every background and social standing simply because of his charming personality. 

How he lives now is quaint, and that's a good way to describe him in general. He's a simple person, with simple wants and at the end of the day, he's generally a happy person. Which, is all anyone really ever wants to be.
