I'm 27, ace, sex-repulsed and arospec but would still like to have children. I'm considering single-parent adoption, and I'm wondering if there are any blogs/people/online spaces with thoughts on ace single parenting I could check out. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I know that @vaginismusandsexuality started a blog that talks about adoptions and being ace, but that one is not single parenting, to my knowledge. Other than that, I don’t know of any, but I’ll open this up to followers to see if they have any recommendations.

remember that time two year old faithe was left unattended in the kitchen and raided both her and her mom's paints, stripped down to her knickers, and covered herself in acrylics, watercolors etc and her mommy opted out of punishing her in favor of taking a dozen pictures and just generally being thrilled bonus memory: that time two year old faithe absolutely refused to ask for milk in french and received a spanking before being sent to her room for the rest of the day (in my mom's defense there was also a shouting match which i started when i shrilly DEMANDED MILK RIGHT NOW OR I'LL DIE)

You know what? Go ahead and keep being unreasonable and irrational. Go ahead and keep giving me more unfair responsibilities, keep getting mad at me or giving me the silent treatment for the things I don't do and not giving me credit for all the shit I do around the house, go ahead and baby the rest of your kids. I'm a better and stronger person for all the shit you make me go through while you raise the rest of them to be dependent and helpless. 

Oh and me being a lesbian and in a solid and healthy relationship is the least of the problems you could have had. I could be alcoholic and pregnant doing drugs in a ditch.

it's because he thinks i'll throw up in it but i havn't even eaten yet and you need to shut the fuck up i'll waste food down the drain if i want to also every time you try and be understanding and helpful you tell me it's up to me to fix this, but if it's up to me why the fuck do you keep trying to help? fucking stop. seriously. you make me want to throw up by telling me not to, like i literally will be bored and think back to the last time you tried to help and told me what to do and how to fix it and then i will throw up.

you've raised me for over 20 years you should know i will always do the exact fucking opposite of what you tell me to do it's not some new thing i started doing
