THE STRIKER AND ALASTOR ASPEC4ASPEC RELATIONSHIP SAGA
off the back of this post
@justletmeon12 this ought to exist outside of notes honestly:
justletmeon12 said: Now I suddenly want them to meet in S2. They hate each other because everyone in Hell hates everyone else when they meet, and whatever convoluted plot has caused the crossover has them briefly on the same side. Striker starts griping about everyone making it seem like a sex thing, because most of life ISN’T SEX, and Alastor looks at him like he’s the only rational person in Hell and offers to buy him a drink later. justanotherhh said: @justletmeon12 striker and alastor go out for drinks and it’s absolutely chill and there’s no tension whatsoever and they both sigh in relief (and then they go on their villainous ways, content that they can try to kill each other next time without anyone making it weird!) justletmeon12 said: @justanotherhh The next time someone (definitely not Vox, no sirree) wants to put a hit out on the Radio Demon, Striker volunteers to do it cheap, because succeed or fail, at least it won’t be awkward. justanotherhh said: @justletmeon12 sdfghjgfdsdfhj alastor and striker having a sort of chill “we can be enemies who try to kill each other” situation that makes everyone around them ??????????? because their framing for relationships is so alloromantic and they don’t understand this 5d galaxy brained dynamic at all justletmeon12 said: @justanotherhh “Sooo, are you two…” [awkward, vaguely obscene gesture] “Et tu, Angel Dust?” “That tears it. Free booze isn’t worth it. Next time, we’re getting drinks somewhere nobody knows either of us.” “Ha! Good luck with that, Strikering. There isn’t a bar in the city where I’m not a regular or banned!” justanotherhh said: @justletmeon12 ET TU ANGEL DUST!!!!!!!!!! cannot tell if it’s harder being aspec irl or in hell 😂😂😭😭 justletmeon12 said: @justanotherhh Well, murder isn’t an option in real life… justanotherhh said: @justletmeon12 *alastor grinning shiftily* … noooo…. sure…. isn’t……………. justletmeon12 said: @justanotherhh (I was hoping you’d do that)
@creepysora and I were also talking about how in all likelihood Striker wouldn't really be able to kill Alastor, because of the sheer power-difference (but, you never know... Niffty killed Adam after all), but it just becomes their way of hanging out. "FINALLY violence that's understood on both parties sides to be completely un-erotic and non-romantic!"
creepysora: I keep thinking that veeeeery slowly, Striker taking jobs to "assassinate" (unsuccessfully) the Radio Demon just start to morph into excuses to hang out with someone who Gets It. Neither knows how this happened. They start getting breakfast before trying to kill each other. Maybe this overlord can survive the class war actually. Mutually "hes useful so I cant kill him yet" delusion. Do they become better people through this? No. They encourage each other to kill people hitting on them. But everyone else surely is unhappy about this weird and unexpected development. not friends not enemies not lovers not rivals not a qpr but a secret fifth thing (aspecs desperate to connect with someone like them)
it's a good thing they both enjoy murder and violence so much, really gives them something to talk about
Ask anything huh... alright what's everyone's favourite gear set?
"I'm actually really fond of this set, lucky enough for me. What's it called, the Shah of Xia set?"
"Honestly I haven't been playing this game long enough to, uh, know? I picked up the titty armor set because it looked stupid and to show off for the stream. I'd honestly like to lean further into the Viking aesthetic later with something like this set.
"Once I've got the cash, I definitely want to lean into the armored princess look. I've had my eye on the Silk and Steel Set."
The only problem with the Dragon Under The Stones set is that it requires a sufficiently tall and impressive staff and hat to complete it."
"Shit, let's get stupid. What's the point of being in a fantasy world if you can't wear five inches of enchanted silk and get away with it?"

I knew that my book was something special when folks reading it on Sufficient Velocity made dank memes of my characters.
How can Hikaru drink anything and have a satisfying experience through a moustache that bushy?!
Hikaru: "One must make sacrifice for Art." Ace: "A straw."
Name: Ace Striker
Nicknames: Ace (Everyone) and A.S. (Breeze Burst)
Mental Age (Aka in Earth Terms): 27
Altmode: 1950 Norton Manx
Gender: Femme (Female)
Personality: Ace can be described as a loner or an introvert. She's never been a fan of being surrounded by people. She likes to be alone because she doesn't want to be hurt like she was as a sparkling (Explained in the backstory). In her own words; "I feel safer when I'm alone, when I'm with other people I feel like something horrible will happen." When people crowd around her or ask too many questions she gets overwhelmed and retreats or breaks down. Ace can come off as very snappy or downright mean spirited due to her angry sounding voice when in reality she's not really like that. Or at least, not completely. Ace just puts on a cold hearted mask so people won't get too close to her. She likes to be quiet and just observe the world around her. She also has a protective nature. When she sees a human or a bot in danger her spark takes over and she acts.
Weapons/Powers: Kunai- Ace has several kunai that she can produce. Unlike how kunai are normally used, Ace uses them like one would use a shuriken, she would throw them. They also come in handy when she needs to cut ropes. (Which she seems to have to do a lot)
Hook arm- Ace has a grappling hook in her right arm. She can switch her servo to it at will and she uses it to climb to high places that she can't climb. She also uses it to get around quicker and to pull enemies close to her.
Camouflage- She has a cloaking device that she uses to blend in with the background. It only lasts a few minutes at a time and she only uses it to sneak around or to spy on people.
Likes: Silence, Animals, The woods, Climbing trees, Reading, Watching humans, Singing but only when she's alone, Throwing her kunai at walls, Using her grappling hook to jump across buildings and sitting on roofs to look at the sky.
Dislikes: Rejection, Anyone hearing her sing, Mornings, Loud Noises, Being crowded, Picking sides, Being chained/tied up, Hearing rumors about herself, Meeting new people, Getting helm aces and thinking about her life up until she was adopted.
Friends: Breeze Burst, Bug Byte, Bulkhead, Jazz and Prowl.
People she dislikes: Sentinel Prime.
Alignment: Currently doesn't have one
Background: Ace has gone through a lot in her life. Not too long after she was onlined her creators had to give her up due to their poor living situations at the time. Because of this Ace spent nine stellar cycles in an orphanage. She was the oldest sparkling there as she stayed there until she was nine stellar cycles old. The caretaker was very neglectful and needed to be reminded by one of the sparklings to feed them. Since she was the oldest all the younger sparklings looked up to her and came to her when they had problems. She became very protective of them and did everything in her power to keep them safe and out of harm's way. During her time at the orphanage she developed a quiet personality.
She preferred to be alone, she still loved to help the sparklings, but she liked being by herself so she could be calm. She also grew a love for reading. Since she was one of the older sparklings she had to go to school. She was one of the very few sparklings that knew how to read and write. It soon became a little routine for her to read books that she would check out at school to the sparklings. When she was around seven stellar cycles old the orphanage caretaker was finally found out and replaced with a nice mech that treated them much better. After two more stellar cycles, Ace was adopted by a loving couple. While she was happy to be adopted, she was also sad that she would have to leave the sparklings she had grown to know so well behind.
Stellar cycles passed. School became a bit of a problem for Ace. She never really made friends because she didn't really know how to. She was never taught how to make friends. It didn't help that her quiet nature made her look a little strange. Most sparklings her age tended to avoid her. This didn't really bother her. She liked to be alone, it was calming. But her new creators didn't understand this aspect of their sparkling. They started trying to get her to be more social, they would take her to play dates, make her join school clubs and make her play with other sparklings. This didn't really make her more social, it only made her upset that her creators were trying to make her do something she was uncomfortable with. She couldn't really blame them though, they probably thought she was becoming anti-social or something.
Then, when she was thirteen stellar cycles old, a terrible incident happened. She had returned from a trip with her grand-sire and grand-carrier when they found her home covered in scrapes and bodies of offlined cybertronians. She was horrified and started crying. From what she learned, two mental older mechs decided to flip out and set off bombs because they didn't agree with how Ultra Magnus ran things. Luckily, her creators were okay. They managed to be far enough away from the blast to not get hurt. But the incident left her in a state of fear. She became reclusive and barely spoke at all for an orbital cycle. The fact that she could've easily lost her new creators terrified her. Even after she had recovered from the incident, her quiet nature seemed to become heightened. For a long time she really only wanted to be around her creators.
After a few orbital cycles, Ace made a friend. Or more accurately, a mech started following her around trying to get to know her. He was older than her, around his mid-teens or so. He just showed up one solar cycle while she was outside reading and just...started talking to her. He seemed nice enough, albeit a little loud. He revealed that his name was Jazz. Ace told him on several occasions that she didn't really like to socialize, but he persisted! It became almost a daily event, she would go out to read or just to sit alone and Jazz would show up and talk with her for megacycles. When Ace asked him why he was so adamant on befriending her when it was so clear that she wasn't very social, he pretty much said that she looked like someone who needed a friend. Needless to say, Ace was very surprised and a little flattered. She never really imagined that anyone would actually want to become friends with her, nor for them to be this adamant.
Without really noticing it, she and Jazz became somewhat close. The two began meeting up when Jazz was done with his cyber-ninja training and Ace was done with school. Their friendship didn't last long, unfortunately. When Jazz was old enough, he signed up for Elite Guard training, meaning he had to leave for Boot Camp. He promised to write to her whenever he could, but over time the letters became less and less frequent until they just stopped all together. Ace was hurt to say the least. She really trusted Jazz, he the only bots that got to know her and he just up and forgot her. Stellar cycles went by and Ace became more and more reclusive. Then one solar cycle, she snapped. All this hurt, anger, sadness, all of it broke her. Her creators constant worrying over her mental state, the loss of her best friend and the constant feelings that she was hurting others without even trying was beginning to tear her spark apart.
She just couldn't take it anymore. At the time she worked as a ship maintenance worker, so when she was alone in her work area, she activated one of the ships she was working on and flew off Cybertron. She didn't want others to worry about her anymore. She didn't want to make her creators worry about her anymore. She tore the autobot logo off her shoulder plating. She didn't want to pick sides anymore. She didn't want bots constantly questioning her anymore. She didn't want bots crowding around her anymore. She. Just. Wanted. To. Be. Alone! Within a few solar cycles the ship ran out of fuel, causing her to plummet towards a planet at top speed. The ship crashed in the middle of a forest, flinging Ace out. When she onlined, she quickly checked on the ship. The ship was as good as dead. Now Ace was stranded on this strange planet, with the small hope that she would finally be alone and away from all the sparkace on Cybertron. Little did she know, a certain purple bot wouldn’t let that happen.
