Reading The Song of Achilles was the most self-destructive thing I have ever done.
I’m gonna read it again for the sixth time

🎵 Two broooos chillin’ in the cremation urn
No longer apart cause they are dead.
I mean Patrochilles is great...but why the hell did we chose it over Achoclus?
Achoclus literally is translated as "painful pride" which is extremely beautiful and sad
I'm kinda disappointed
In ancient Greek the hierarchy is like humans<demigods<minor gods<12 gods of Olympus <Fate
So in the Iliad,at the moment Zeus himself said that if Achilles keeps fighting like that, the Troy wil fall before of its time and then proceeds in letting the gods help the Trojans,he basically admitted that he fears that Achilles ,while on range and grief for Patrochilles,is able to CHANGE FATE!
Conclusion:humans<demigods<minor gods<12 gods of Olympus <Fate<Achilles avenging his bf
All kidding aside, if you don't ship AchillesxPatroclus then you read the Iliad wrong
