The hatred has to stop
Today marks the bloodiest shooting in American history in a gay club in Orlando, Florida. 50 people were killed by a single person who could easily get his hands on a gun. As a nation we mourn the loss of so many people to gun violence these last few years that it seems like the new normal. It shouldn't be. America shouldn't be a country where everyone with a dangerous mind can get a gun at any corner store without even doing basic mental health tests. This was purely an act of hate, that should never have happened here. We present ourselves as a free nation, built on liberty and respect for our fellow Americans. Obviously, this path we are going down is not what America was supposed to be like. We need more love and acceptance, not guns and hate. It's sicking how the acts of gun violence have increased in the United States. As a country, we should be more focused on how we can improve the real problems that this nation has and not the 'problems' that go against peoples own personal 'values.' Enforcing gun control in the United States should be the priority so that these acts of hate can no longer happen in a country that markets itself so well but gets a lot worse up close.
