just went through the unholy combination of going to the barbershop: trying to pass as a man and also having to try to sound interesting/be normal/whatever it is people seem to do when they’re getting their haircut. It’s always like, they’re talking and laughing but when it’s my turn, i try really hard but they always just end up being silent and it’s awkward and i can tell i failed at the social interaction. I think I succeeded as the passing as male aspect tho...
