but of course I had to draw Jon as big-lanky-insecure (but fiercely protective) eldritch monster
and Mr. Monster-Fucker Blackwood
also HELEN

finished Tron: Uprising
I'm sick and this came to me in a vision on my way to the doctor
I am 100% convinced a crossover would be canon compliant for both, Percy Jackson and Supernatural and it would be HILARIOUS
Rick Riordan I beg you
mood swings post | possessiveness post | psychosis post
Genesis who sometimes for 'no real reason'* gets incredibly moody and irritable and wants to shut himself away from everyone and ignore any responsibilities he may have because he's upset and feeling unstable and if he sees a singular individual right now that isn't, like, Angeal, he may incinerate them on the spot
But also Angeal's busy and it's not like he has a reason to bother him. On his good days Genesis is like a particularly clingy cat, entirely unapologetic about hogging someone's time, space or attention. But on bad days, where he's stuck at the bottom of a spiral, victim to his own worst thoughts and massively unstable mood, he starts questioning everything, feeling guilty for needing or wanting anything from anyone he considers safe or his while at the same time almost entirely convinced that the attention he needs is something he's earned. He tries to isolate himself, mostly as a punishment for himself, but a particularly cruel part of him also considers it punishment for those who allegedly care for him
He wants contact and wants to push it away entirely. The two conflicting thoughts and wishes almost break him and he doesn't know how to fix it
*BPD is associated with rapid mood swings (dysphoria) which can be triggered by very minor things or seemingly nothing at all. Mood swings are typically very intense and last from less than half an hour to a few days at most
OKAY! The Praxian/Iaconi thing I've been mentioning in the Smokes and Magnus thing! It's time to explain it!
Technically, this applies to most any Aligned work I do, whether canon, divergent, or AU. I like this concept a lot. However, with the Smokes and Magnus thing, Ultra Magnus is there and Smokescreen gets to talk it out. They've got a long time til they get to Earth, I imagine this conversation will eventually go somewhere.
Anyway, Smokescreen is very obviously Praxian, he's got the doorwings and everything. But if you ask him, he will never say he's from Praxus. As far as he's concerned, his only home is Iacon. So he says he's Iaconi.
Why? Because he never got a chance to know anything about Praxus. The city fell and he wasn't there. Probably off training to be an Elite Guard or something. Regardless, he wasn't there and never spent much time in Praxus anyway.
Now, Magnus would be the one asking why for all this, which means Smokes has to explain this all to him. Neither of them really understands the others point on the matter at first. Smokescreen is so clearly Praxian, why wouldn't he want to embrace that part of himself, and why should Smokescreen's frame actually matter at all. His time was spend in Iacon, not Praxus.
On top of all that, Smokescreen has no real ties to Praxus. He didn't know the city or its people well at all. And it was gone before he could ever learn about it.
It's definitely more angst than the other stuff so far, but it's always rattling around in my brain when it comes to Smokescreen
Actually-
