A/N: I can’t believe this is really happening. I have absolutely no idea how to even begin. I’m so shocked at the response of people who would actually read this series. I’m excited to start this journey. This first one is a little dry BUT it’s only the beginning. It goes without say that I’m grateful to be back and flowing with inspo. Please enjoy. ❤️

♛  BIOGRAPHY

↳ family lineage.

steffon’s childhood was complicated. he did not grow up in a particularly difficult home, however his father–lord robert baratheon ii– was emotionally distant and by no means an affectionate man. he wanted his sons to be strong and felt that showing any softness would make them weak. from the moment he was able, his father was training him in the art of swordsmanship, horseback riding, hunting and politics. between all his lessons, steffon could hardly catch a moment to breathe. as his eldest son, he trained steffon to be a strong and competent lord who would one day take his place as ruler.

his mother, on the other hand, did her best to balance that out by being a kind and loving woman. when steffon was injured in one of his various lessons, his mother would comfort him and tend to his wounds rather than simply have a maester do it. she would remind him that it was okay for him to cry as he sat there stone-faced as his father had commanded. after her encouraging, he would at times break down and express the immense pressure that plagued him. lady ellyn would assure him that however hard his father pushed him, he meant well. he only wanted the best for his son. she did her best to make her son a well rounded man– a strong man with a gentle heart. unfortunately, the complete opposite parenting styles from his parents would only lead to what felt like lifelong inner turmoil.

when it comes to steffon’s relationship with his siblings, that sense of conflict and confusion does not exist. being the firstborn he always felt like a protector and role model. this, of course, lead to more pressure but he was happy to bare the burden for the sake of his siblings. when it came to the secondborn, his younger brother, he aided in the lessons he had been taught by their father. lord robert had decided that steffon was old enough to take on the responsibility of training his brother the way that he had. the ruling lord had, well, ruling to do. it was tough, but steffon did the best that he could. during this time, the two grew close– best friends, even. they had their fights and disagreements but at the end of the day, there wasn’t a thing in the world that steffon would not do for his brother. some years later came the final baratheon child, this time a baby girl. with her birth, both steffon and his brother had become protectors. while they could not spend a great deal of time with her, they were fierce protectors. when suitors came knocking at their doors, steffon was quick to intimidate those he found to be inferior– which was many of them.

steffon was just 19 when his father died and the responsibility of ruling lord became his. lord robert had not shown any obvious signs of ailing as far as steffon knew so he was left in shock when his father clutched his chest at the dinner table and fell unconscious. lady ellyn spent 3 days at his side, begging the maesters to save her husband but he never again opened his eyes. on the morning of the 4th day, she would find that he no longer had a heartbeat. the next day steffon was declared ruling lord and was thrown right into all the responsibilities that came with it. of course he knew it would come some day.. he just hadn’t expected it to be so soon. the first few months and, honestly, years were very hard on him. he would not let his stress and weakness show, though, for fear of disappointing his father. he wanted to hold up to the legacy of baratheon greatness. so, he did his best in the position for 11 years when a trip to king’s landing for the birth of the lannister prince goes awry.

when word reached steffon that his brother was kidnapped and eventually returned in less than perfect shape, he was understandably furious. the soon to be storm king had been on the front lines, fighting a small battle along the dornish border as the stormlands so often did. he no longer felt like he could trust the iron throne to keep his people safe. after he had heard of emeric tyrell declaring himself independent, he soon followed suit. the title of storm king would be restored and the territory of the stormlands would no longer answer to the lannister king. when the news reached storm’s end, lady ellyn nearly collapsed with fear. first, she was upset at the danger her younger son had been put in but to learn that they could possibly go to war of their declaration of independence.. she was overrun with worry. when he returned home, steffon assured his mother that he had made the best decision given the position they’d been put in. she had proposed that he reconsider but he outright refused. he reminded her that his father would be ashamed to see him make such a bold decision only to cave a short time later.

then came the issue of the necessity of a queen. steffon had many suitable young ladies brought to him over the years but now that he was a king, the stakes were entirely different. it was soon realized that there was only one obvious choice: the eldest daughter of evenfall hall, kyra tarth. not only had house tarth been fiercely loyal to house baratheon for many years but lady kyra was a strong and capable woman, the kind of woman steffon needed at his side. the two were wed quickly and while there was no love between them, steffon had a great deal of respect for her. he saw her as an ally, someone he could depend on now with the heavy weight of a crown upon his head.

↳ personality.

steffon is strong-willed and an overachiever. he refuses to appear weak in any sense which then means that he is not very good at expressing his more vulnerable feelings. this fear of weakness had been instilled in him by his father and while his mother tried her best to counter it, her opposing efforts of softness only lead to a deeply conflicted man.

much like a storm, his moods can at times be turbulent. in these times, he does his best to not let it show in front of and instead go somewhere more private to blow off steam. however, he has been known to snap at subordinates in the past. he will not tolerate disrespect and is unafraid to let others know that.

↳ the splitting of the kingdoms.

steffon is dealing with a lot. he was forced to make the decision to break away from the iron throne after what happened to his younger sibling during the king’s landing kidnappings. though he was initially somewhat unsure, he found that he was unable to trust the judgement of the iron throne after his sibling’s near death. as he watched others rescind, he felt it was the best choice for him and his people. this coupled with the fact that he wanted to restore house baratheon to its former royal greatness, he is now more confident in his decision than ever.

that being said, the responsibility is weighing heavy on his shoulders. he does his best to keep his composure but is known to snap at others at times. he doesn’t mean to but is often too prideful to apologize, at least to those of lower standing than himself. he does not wish to start a war and so he will remain cordial with other royals but if he feels disrespected, he won’t be afraid to speak on it. he especially does not appreciate being branded a traitor.

in regards to the summit, steffon has been to dorne before. in the past, he found that is a lovely place but clearly, his focus is not on that now. he is very much focused on the task at hand which is establishing some sort of agreement amongst the kingdoms. he is absolutely not willing to discuss the idea of bending the knee. in truth, he would rather die than return to the iron throne with his tail between his legs. he hopes instead that they will come to some sort of understanding– set borders, lines of trade and communication, all of that. he wants to prove himself a ruler capable of making the best decisions for the people but will absolutely stand his ground– even at a high cost.

&&. ( kora florescu ) was just spotted in amsterdam. rumor has it ( she ) is a ( 512 /  appears 28 ) year old ( vampire ) who resembles ( dakota johnson ). ( she ) has been said to be ( loyal & flirtatious ) but also quite ( feisty & sarcastic ). with all the chaos surrounding the magical underworld, ( she ) has chosen to align with ( the vampires ). ( she ) is currently serving as ( socialite / spy for the spymaster ). hopefully the city doesn’t devour them whole.

This is the love of my life Kora. Here are some things to know about her.

Kora was born human, part of a Wallachian noble family during the 16th century rule of the Ottoman empire. She’d been told the tales of Vlad the impaler and the rumors of vampires but didn’t believe them. Shortly after her 28th birthday she was turned (WANTED CONNECTION) by a man she had fallen completely and totally in love with. It wasn’t long before the vampire lifestyle took its toll and she went into hiding for a short period of time in order to figure out what she could do to avoid detection. In the early 18th century, she caught word that her family had migrated to Amsterdam and thus she followed suit, posing as a distant relative. She would confide in a member of her family in order to ensure that this lifestyle could continue (WANTED CONNECTION). Every few years, she would retreat again only to emerge as another distant relative. Sometimes she used her real name, other times she used a pseudonym, always using the surname Florescu in order to be true to her heritage. 

Kora is a member of the vampire court, or has been since Gabriel took control. She sought out like minded individuals. It is through this connection she ultimately decided to continue the only life she knew. That of a socialite, posing as human and sending along any interesting information that could help the vampire cause. The longer her time spent with the humans, the more empathetic she feels for them. She often wonders why she does what she does.

Kora is an art lover and has posed for many of the great painters over the years. Beyond this she’s donated these works to the Rijksmuseum. She thinks it’s funny when she visits and people remark how much she resembles paintings of herself.

Alright, here is the BIGGIE. I have a wanted connection that would ideally be fulfilled by an Adam Driver fc. This is for Kora’s star-crossed lover. Essentially the species is utp but if it is a human or a werewolf, Kora would’ve fallen for your character’s ancestor and your character resembles him remarkably so. She therefore feels a connection and is completely and totally vexed by your character. She is drawn to him and seeks him out. If an angel or vampire, Kora and your character crossed paths early on in her years as a vampire and every time she’s come back under a new name, their paths have crossed. They can either know what the other is and be unmistakably drawn to one another or each can think the other is almost like a reincarnation and for a few short years they have a love that is unrivaled by anything else. We can tweak this storyline so let me know if you’re interested. This one you’d need to contact the main and say you’re taking it.

Patrick is the younger of the two Patterson brothers. The boys lost their parents when they were young and they have been fending for themselves ever since. His brother is the only one that he feels like he can reply on and as the younger of the two brothers, Patrick looks up to Paxton and admires his brother massively. Paxton can do no wrong in Patrick’s eyes and Patrick follows him blindly into whatever situation his brother gets involved in. He truly believes that his brother knows what’s best for them. He’s the goofball out of the two and particularly enjoys annoying the life out of Paxton.

When Patrick met Hayden he came to the conclusion of ‘this is what the saying feel the fear of god really is’. He finds Hayden intimidating and feels an unease about him that strikes him to his core. His brother brought him into the fold and they stand by Hayden no matter what, providing any assistance that is required as well as working shifts in Mount Olympus. He finds working for Hayden to be incredibly demanding and feels like now that he’s in he won’t be able to get out since the lifestyle, status and power that comes being on Hayden’s side is too intoxicating and addictive to ever want to leave.

Patrick is someone that can’t hide his emotions. It became a running joke that he could only feel one emotion at a time since whatever emotion he felt seemed to completely overwhelm him. He’s not the most intelligent person, in fact, in his own opinion his brother got all the good genes and all the leftover ones were left for him. He’s tall and has a default facial expression that can be daunting and intimidating to others but he is a big softie on the inside. Patrick is awkward and incredibly anxious about a lot of things and that is a main factor to why he doesn’t talk a lot and prefers to stay in the background, leaving his brother to take the lead out of them both.

Paxton Patterson ~ Patrick’s older brother and the only person that has stood by him in life. Without their parents around, Paxton raised him and he feels like he owes his brother for all those years of looking after him. His loyalty resides with whomever his brother sides with which is always Hayden Bodaway.

Hayden Bodaway ~ Patrick knew Hayden growing up since Paxton and Hayden were colleagues/friends. Over time Patrick was brought into the fold and with the money he was making with Hayden, he began to trust the man and soon his loyalty also sided with Hayden.

ADAM FRANCES ~ AGE: 33 ~ OCCUPATION: ELECTRICIAN

IN A PAST LIFE:

Once, a man named Victor Frankenstein sought to create a living being, building a makeshift human out of illegally obtained body parts. Bizarrely enough, he was able to bring this creature to life. At first, the creature was an erratic, hulking beast, but as he slowly but surely began to interact with people and learn more about them, he became more intelligent, and a desire blossomed in him to belong amongst humankind. However, of course the people were terrified of him, called him a monster, and even tried to attack him. While he was peaceful by nature, the creation would lash out of he felt threatened, only adding fuel to the fire of the people’s hatred for him. He turned his ire towards his creator for dooming him to this fate, and after a series of harrowing events, the creation escaped and disappeared into the wilderness, and many years later, Dr. Frankenstein died a broken and guilt-ridden man. The creation ultimately died, heartbroken, and upon his death he was transported to the town of Chicanery.

HERE IN CHICANERY:

Adam Frances never had it easy in life. His mother died in childbirth, and his father was a selfish and foolhardy man who was unprepared to raise a child alone. He was born with autism, as well as a rare birth defect which resulted in him losing a leg at an early age. In addition, he was born during a thunderstorm, which resulted in a power outage at the hospital. Because of his autism, he has trouble in high-sensory environments, and often uses sign language to communicate rather than verbal speech. As a result of his father’s attitude towards his disability, and the lingering sense of resentment over his mother’s death, Adam had an unconventional upbringing, and he harbours both deep-seated love and resentment towards his father to this day. He was often teased and bullied in his youth, both for his appearance and for the way his autism affected him socially, and even as an adult his self esteem remains somewhat damaged. He has used a wooden prosthetic leg throughout his life, and still does to this day,and it affects the way that he walks. He also has a metal plate in his skull due to an accident. He has grown accustomed to working hard every day to achieve his goals, and his astonishing physical strength and brawny build are an asset in that regard. When he was in his twenties, he met the woman he would later marry. The couple moved to Chicanery not long after they were married, hoping to start a life for themselves there. Adam now works as the town’s main electrician.

WHISPERS AROUND TOWN:

Elsa Frances is Adam’s wife, and the love of his life. She is his other half in every way and the only person he truly feels accepted by, and he loves and trusts her unconditionally. He doesn’t have many opportunities to make friends, at least outside of work. Even so, his job has led him to form tentative friendly relationships with Thomas “Leatherface” Hewitt and Jason Voorhees, among others around town. He often visits the town library, and thus knows the librarian Carrie White well; though he wonders what someone as kind as her could see in the grouchy town groundskeeper, Freddy Krueger. He has a soft spot for kids, and sometimes volunteers at the town community centre when he can.

Ben was almost his grandfather reincarnated. His draw to the dark side of the force was always strong but he promised to stay faithful to his uncle Luke. He’d joined his uncle school, being one of the strongest Jedi like the Skywalkers always were. It wasn’t until that fateful night when his uncle attacked him that he felt betrayal and let himself fall to the dark side. He joined The First Order and helped lead them on to an almost victory. The one thing that stood in his way was that pull to the light and of course a young Jedi who would meddle in all of his plans. In a crazy turn of events she had defeated him but did not kill him. His father, whom he’d killed many months ago to try and defeat that pull to the light and submerge himself into the dark, came to his aid in the force and reminded him of who he truly was. Kylo Ren was shed from his body and Ben Solo returned to fight for the good of the people and redeem his family name.
