Well that's disappointing.

Like dude... I'm so sorry, I thought that as an artist you knew the difference between lines on paper and a real life person. A good portion of popular "loli" characters aren't even fake minors, but young looking fake adults-- I know that, and I hate most loli content. What did Ai from Detective Conan do to you? lmao

Gotta say, one of my favorite media trends is when comedy artists and creators shift towards horror and like, psychological thrillers. It really feels like they’re just going down a checklist of figuring out a deeper understanding to every innate human feeling. I’m a little afraid. Anyway, I think this comic is great; it’s super fun to see the artist develop his storytelling skills over time and his sense of narration and pacing are both fantastic.

This comic can’t quite be graded as a story because it’s just a series of one-offs (some are more in-depth than others) so I’m going to be eliminating categories 1, show-not-tell, 2, worldbuilding, 6, character nuance, and 20, made me feel a lot, since those don’t apply as much; and grading it on what remains.

My rating: 12/16 (=0.75 or 7.5/10)

The points it missed after I cut down the ones that weren’t relevant were 10, same-face syndrome, 11, cookie-cutter syndrome, 16, extra art point, and 18, personal excitement. All in all definitely worth the read; I’m sure the artist has an instagram where it’s all available as well (I don’t have one so I wouldn’t know), and it’s not really necessary to read it all at once, so y’know… do whatever you want.
