Imagine waking up to your f/o talking softly to you, making sure you dont get startled.
Them making sure your routine is simple and easy to predict, not getting angry if you get upset about something being new or changing.
doing their best to do familiar things so you dont feel overwhelmed, like making the same foods, watching the same movies or using the same routes when taking a stroll either in the city or inside the house (if you do).
Bringing you to the park to get fresh air if you can, making sure you can rest when you get tired of going around, or even just opening the windows of your room so you dont have to go out.
Them leading you to eat breakfast they already prepared, maybe its your favorite, or maybe its what you need in terms of nutrients, always keeping in mind the ingredients to use to avoid upsetting your stomach. they made it so carefully and lovingly just for you.
Them learning recipes in secret just to surprise you, just to take care of you when everything feels too much. Learning things from your culture or your childhood so you always feel comforted and not overwhelmed by change.
Helping you shower, getting a wooden stool if standing is too much. Warming the water up in the kitchen or turning the heating up, so you dont get cold, or helping you dry yourself, always with the most care.
Them doing your hair patiently, or getting someone to do it for you if they dont know how to do it. Making sure your hair wont get damaged while you rest, applying serums, creams or powders, if you use them.
Kissing over all your face, reminding you their love isnt just for ‘good’ or ‘productive’ days.
Them fixing the bed when youre too tired to, so that its clean for you, and them not getting upset if it does get dirty for any reason.
F/o giving you space if you want it, not touching you until you are ready to, and if you never are, they will understand and respect it.
Them turning off the lights or helping you walk around, making sure their love is always safe and comfortable.
Always helping you find where your comfort items are, ready to help you calm down in case things go wrong.
Them comforting you even if its just with words when theyre also too tired to physically help out. Telling you how much you mean to them.
F/o who is always serious and stern being soft with you, taking naps and allowing themselves to also be kind to themselves.
F/o leaving you little sticky notes around the house telling you how important you are and how lucky they are to have you in their life and making sure to kiss your forehead while you sleep before going to work.

Every day we wake up is a fresh start. Today has been absolutely terrible for me. Tomorrow I get to wake up fresh because I'll leave today's nightmare here. It's what I'm training my mind to do anyway.
The last hour I’ve been looking through some of my old school reports (which I’ve never completely done before) and wow
The signs of my mental disabilities/disorders in these (ADHD, social anxiety disorder, BPD, etc.) is…very high when reading them, especially with ADHD and all the adaptations I had to be given way before they even started thinking I might have it. Like, all the way to pre school. Idk why I’m mentioning this…I just, found it really interesting, no wonder my parents were fighting so hard to get me diagnosed for shit so early on.
I knew all this, but at the same time I didn’t if that makes sense?
