jumin is a very no-nonsense type of guy so he doesn’t really get it at first

you were sitting at your desk, doodling on the back of your hand and you didn’t even notice jumin standing behind you

he was just standing there, watching you draw

when he finally spoke, it scared you so bad that you accidentally drew a line across your whole hand

he doesn’t see why you’re drawing on your hand if there’s no purpose to it

especially since it’s just going to be erased when you wash your hands

“y/n if you like to draw then i can order you a canvas and some supplies”

“oh no, don’t worry about it, jumin, it’s just for fun!”

“but it will just wash off”

“well, that’s the point!”

he furrows his eyebrows and walks away

the closest friend he has to an artist is V so he calls him and asks about it

V explains to him that sometimes it’s not about achieving a polished product, it’s just about having fun

he comes back to the room and sits down next to you

whenever he’s bored or stressed from work, he just doodles stars on his arms

you were sitting and drawing on your hands when 707 snuck up behind you

he then raised his own arm to show off the stars he’d drawn on it

you pulled him into the seat next to you and held your arm against his

carefully, you drew a couple of matching planets on both of your arms

“what about when we wash them off?”

“don’t be dumb, seven, they don’t need to be visible to connect us”

he turns his head away so you can’t see his face flushing about as bright as his hair

(you later get these same planets and stars as matching tattoos)

if he’s super busy doing work, you’ll sit next to him and doodle on his arm

he doesn’t mind it (he likes it a lot actually)

in fact, it helps him remember that life isn’t entirely pointless

kuroo immediately took charge and split the team into multiple groups to search for it

too bad you chose that moment to walk into the gym asking about your hamster

“what lev means to say is that we are having too much fun with him to give him back. yeah, OH and inuoka wasn’t there something you wanted to show y/n? y’know, very very far from here?”

so inuoka (who’s now on distraction duty) was dragging you halfway across the school on a wild goose chase

yamamoto sprinted through the whole school to try and find the hamster

kenma just kind of sat there, still playing his game and pretending he was looking

yaku took it upon himself to crawl through all the tiny spaces the hamster could be hiding

sometimes being short is okay

about 15 minutes passed with no luck in finding your hamster

that’s when you returned with inuoka who was desperately hoping that they’d already found it

“hey uh, we’re back!”

“oh, hi y/n. i have your hamster here”

kenma held up his hand and your hamster was just chilling there watching him play on his switch

the whole team glared at him for a few seconds

but one time you were walking to class with kuroo and he overheard some girl insult your clothing

kai had to stop a murder

kuroo basically called out the girl in front of everyone

there’s usually quite a few people who stare at you at matches and stuff

it’s to be expected, you do stand out

if there’s a guy on another team who’s looking at you for too long, yaku will literally launch a volleyball at their head

the first match that nekoma has with karasuno, yamamoto does not shut up about you to tanaka

as he should because you’re fucking great

they tend to brag about you to other teams too

not in like an “objectifying” way, more in like a “look at how fucking cool our manager is” way

yukie and kaori are probably your best friends at this point

whenever you have practice matches with nekoma, kuroo tries flirting with you which leads to the whole team glaring at him

kuroo saw his life flash before his eyes that day

whenever you’re at training camps, you all stay up really late playing games and stuff

he just loves walking around his or your island at night with the music in the back as the two of you pretend to be cuddling together

he spent money to try and get his dream villagers

he actually cried when he accidentally let one of his favourites move away

(you saved his villager and he cried again)

yamamoto absolutely freaks out as soon as he sees you because “KUROO THE MANAGER YOU GOT IS REALLY CUTE”

lev immediately wanted to impress you. he started begging kenma to set for him and soon received a ball to the head, courtesy of yaku

kenma was just kinda sitting off to the side playing a game

you walked up to him and tried to talk to him. kenma immediately winced at you interrupting his game, but luckily you recognized the game he was playing

once kenma noticed you actually knew what you were talking about, he actually got a little excited (just a little tho)

kuroo likes to make comments about how you “tamed the kitten who hates everyone”

yaku gives you a look that could only be interpreted as “i am so sorry for what you’re about to go through”

whenever you go to games, kenma follows you around like a lost puppy. he just kinda trails behind you wherever you go

you and yaku are kinda like the moms of the group. you two are the only responsible ones

these guys are so overprotective at games. like if someone from another team even looks at you, they’re in a circle around you glaring at that person

lev literally does whatever he can to try to look cool in front of you. it usually results in him doing something to embarrass himself anyway

inuoka is always really excited to talk to you. he just likes to ramble on and on without stopping

shibayama cannot talk to you without becoming a blushy stuttering mess

kuroo will randomly use shitty pickup lines on you. that’s yaku’s queue to throw a ball at his face
