🔥 your LEAST favorite twin peaks character, whoever that may be

Hm... Probably Doc Hayward. He specifically had a very close position to Laura, and 100% knew that something was happening to her. It makes the infamous "let's put a stop to the autopsy" bit so much worse after FWWM, but even before that...

He's a really good example of the Thing in TP where very nice people behave unethically or badly. He gets some heartwarming lines, but like every adult in Laura's life, he let her down, and the family doctor/best friend's father is a pretty brutal one to have ignore the very obvious warning signs.

The real unpopular opinion here is that the "angels" scene from the missing pieces with him and Laura makes me halfway violent. I love the layers of Donna trying to offer comfort through an authoritative proxy, and the emotion of it all but. Doctor, do you see any angels here?

2. What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?

Last movie I watched was the Guillermo del Toro Frankenstein! i thought it was very good, tbh i don't have much to say about it that someone else has probably already said but good movie! (also not over my brother in law saying the creature becomes santa claus bc he ends near the north pole)

7. what's your favorite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you want to experience?

might be biased since i work for a railroad but i do love a good train ride, they have nice big windows to look out and it gives me a good sense of geographic direction. i have done all the major modes of transport, but whenever im in a different city i'm always curious about their public transit

13. what's something you learned recently?

i went wedding dress shopping for my sister and learned about the different types of fabric and embroidery!

angry, family, and childhood headcanons for KITT?? all i know about knight rider is what you’ve posted about it but i love seeing how you interpret and characterize him

AHH thank you so much!!! it is such a goofy show with a tendency to be kind of surface level but the Little Guys it has produced are everything 2 me, KITT especially

☠ - Angry/violent headcanon: KITT's not really a very angry person, in part I think from his core coding barring him from causing harm to living things. which is a blessing and a curse, from a psychological standpoint, because I genuinely don't think he ever WANTS to do that but it makes him confused when he does have - sometimes quite justifiably - very angry feelings towards people who hurt him or the people close to him. he internally has wished harm on people like Garthe Knight or Adrianne Margeaux but finds it a deeply concerning and confusing sensation because at the same time he works under an assumption that he's not "allowed" to feel that way. like sure, no such thing as thought crime but sometimes you are an artificial intelligence with a literal line of code in your brain that is telling you You Can't Think About That.

♥ - Family headcanon: I think he kind of struggles with the idea of "family" as given in the standard definition he's probably trained on (i.e. a nuclear family unit, which is not so much something he ever has experienced or has a real true drive for) both on account of the "being a computer/car" thing and also his own latent queerness, both of which lead him to feel alienated from the concept. hence why I think he asks Michael about it multiple times during the series, which helps him recontextualize it as something different/more welcoming than just "here's a picture of one of your programmers' heterosexual white 1980s family".

secondarily, I do think he understands that KARR is functionally his brother and does wish that he could actually like. have a friendly relationship with him but they got off to maybe one of the worst starts two siblings can have (didnt know the other existed until one of them started committing robberies and being a general destructive nuisance and then got mad that his creator made another version of him and then locked him up in a warehouse). I think it makes him a little sad that they couldn't work together with KARR as part of the family in the end

▼ - Childhood headcanon: so this is an interesting one bc I just watched an ep where KITT is like "i was never a child so can't really conceptualize of BEING one" which. yeah that totally makes sense. even though he doesn't really know what to make of that it does honestly make him very empathetic towards children (which we do see throughout the series, he's like crazy good with kids it's cute) because his sort of lack of complete context for the social status/hierarchy of little humans just loops back around to him being like "guess i'll talk to this child about math" which they are weirdly receptive to. I dunno! I don't think he has much recollection of like, being trained as he was programmed and brought online which is the closest thing to a "childhood" a computer might have but I think he does sort of idly wonder about what it might have been like when he interacts with human kids and how he might have liked to have been treated if he were in their shoes.

It's been a while, but the awesome news is that I've been busy with commissions, one of which is for the AMAZING adrianicsea and his legendary fic, Sleeping With Ghosts!!! This is by far one of my favorite scenes and it's just from the first chapter! I am so honored to be commissioned by such an amazing friend and have learned so much about the commission process! Whew, I'm ready to relax with a good fic~

chainshipping………its complex. its nuanced. the No One Else Gets Them is halfway because its me and a pocket of mutuals against the world adrian you know how it is……NO dying in each others arms swuare because the fun part is that they dont/cant. kissing will not fix them TO ME. but they should anyways <3

and tiffanica!! almost sorta bingo on top row? again no one gets them like i do Well to be honest its me and an even smaller pocket of mutuals but i feel more strongly about them being overall misinterpreted/not understood the way we do it so full heart. half heart for they would hate the ship because nica would Nawt be happy at first. kissing could fix them actually but only after a long long road of psychological torture as sex and psychologically torturous sex! they can kill each other as a treat. literally yuri is so self explanatory <3

these are similar because theyre both my view of them which um skews a certain way and i think some of these squares i would never fill in bc the op has a fundamentally different view from me on ships <3 but its so fun i love them both and they both should get weirder and more obsessed with each other. yay! thank yew adrian ^_^

as someone who HAS seen all of the saw movies what’s your take on Saw X potentially revisiting the 2-3 timeline and following amanda 👁👁

i think it'd be...interesting and very risky. obviously i love amanda dearly she's my favourite character in the entire franchise but she's very layered and i feel like it would be very easy to mess her up, particularly when taking into account a lot of the retcons/changes that have happened since saw iii. also given how badly saw vii butchered hoffman's already questionable characterisation and how...little apprentice lawrence was developed, i have concerns! the apprentices are one of my favourite aspects of the series (shocker!) in terms of dynamics and their varied relationships to john, especially amanda's relationship to him, and i don't want to see them ruin that. i believe that amanda deserved better but i also believe that her story reached a natural if deeply tragic conclusion...you know?

that said. i do trust bousman as a director when it comes to saw, so if he's involved (since there seems to be slim to none chance of james wan returning, and while i think leigh is more of a possibility i'm never getting my hopes up), then i think there's a lot of potential! amanda is...such an interesting character and i really would love to get more insight into her life before her test (including how and why eric matthews went after her) as well as more information on what she was up to in the periods between the first three films. if done right i also think an amanda film would Hit as a saw film in a way later ones didn't (saying this as a spiral stannie). vii/jigsaw/spiral didn't feel like saw films, for better or for worse, and i think making stuff amanda centric again would bring back this very specific vibe that the first six (even if i'm not an iv fan) had. i hope people know what i'm saying here.

i'm sure there's some concerns about the fact it's been like fifteen years and the cast have all aged but shawnee is TIMELESS to me so whatever. also a genuinely phenomenal actress and i would love to see her again! she's also probably the franchise's best shot of getting tobin back and i KNOW they regret killing john off so early. and this is a fine way to fix that. on a personal level i would kill a man to see amanda and lawrence interactions and ik cary has said he's open to coming back, and it would also provide an opportunity for them to touch on apprentice lawrence somewhat (and maybe open us up for an adam mention or two). the very vague jill and amanda stuff we got in vi is also fascinating to me, as she's the only one two have substantial relationships with both and amanda being one of john's first test subjects must...have really fucked with jill. anyway. point is i would also love for it to be used as a jill comeback, especially after they did her so dirty in vii. erik knudsen is in his thirties now but the amanda and daniel relationship is such an essential one to understanding amanda's character, so fuck it, bring him back too. i hope costas stays unemployed for the rest of his life but they can like, replace him with jack black or something because the amanda and hoffman relationship also makes me crazy. for fun i think they should edit in the cut amanda and adam scene from saw iii except it was clearly filmed fifteen years before the rest of the movie.

anyway. i guess my take is...very hesitant and ambivalent but if done right i will lose my goddamn mind <3 the amanda trilogy is easily the tightest narrative of the whole franchise and i think it would be very easy for them to fuck it up, but i hope if the theory DOES pan out then they get all the right people involved so they avoid any mistakes. at any rate it'll be better than the billy the puppet origin story or whatever it is that tobin bell suggested. they could also do the honourable thing and visit a VERSION of the 2-3 timeline which is jigsaw the tv show, but lionsgate still hasn't reached out to me, so i doubt it.
