âł professor!joonâs love language.
intense? probably helping you out on a daily basis while you are handling baby moon. that is as far as it gets, he is not a slave of your love.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
âł for his darling? not so much but for her daughter, this man can and will kill. nothing comes above his daughter.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
âł he would never mock her! he wants her input in his academic papers, he likes to hear her ideas and he truly values her academic intelligence.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darlingâs will?
âł yes, take decisions on her behalf without even making her party to such decisions. like the decision to impregnate her in the first place.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
âł he is pretty open with her. his darling will know his life autobiography because he is pretty vulnerable to her.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
âł oh, we all know what happened when his darling tried to fight back the pregnancy. she got her ass handed to her.
itâs not like knj would use physical force against her for every thing but he can and will draw the line. the most patient people can actually be the most unpredictable when you cross them.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
âł nope, it was never a game. it was just friends with benefits for his darling, but he was in it to win it. no funny business.
Hell: What would be their darlingâs worst experience with them?
âł again, the whole abortion row. he literally traumatised his darling to the point where she had nightmares during her entire pregnancy and then she got to relive it when he took away moon one night after a fight.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
âł he wants his darling to raise his children in an ideal manner and a warm house where everyone lives together happily.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
âł there is not a single jealous bone in this man. he is very neutral and cannot give a ratâs ass who his darling talks to. what will the guy even do by hitting on knjâs darling? moon is the living example that his darling is already happily taken.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
âł on quiet, lowkey days â really loves having his darling on his lap. just sitting on his lap â his back to his chest, his hand on her lower back, rubbing in circles. neck kisses to the back of her neck, lingering touches on the junction of her shoulder-neck.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
âł technically, he was the one who approached his darling first but that was âcause he got caught staring at her and not because he was trying to court her. hell, that was never in the question because it was immoral and unethical. had his darling not caught onto his gaze, then knj would not be have approached or even think of courting his darling. he would have buried his small crush deep within and never talk about it to another soul. so, it was a matter of chance.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
âł knj is pretty much the same with everyone else. a patient, smart, intelligent, soft-spoken guy who is always worrying about experiments and citing his papers in a proper manner.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
âł 10/10 would take their daughter away from his darling. it has her blood running cold and the onset of the those god-awful nightmares again, sometimes even coupled with hallucinations where the line between reality and imagination gets blurred for his darling.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
âł right to have a job, right to take decisions about your own reproductive organs, right to further education [this one is debatable, read ask for more information.]
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
âł he is literally a professor. he is the epitome of patience. darling being a brat? my man loves to tame brats.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
âł there are two scenarios, one where his darling leaves alone, in that case, knj would look for her but he cannot find her ultimately, he will continue to live with his daughter and move on in the emotional aspect. he might not date again for his daughter but he would not be too hung up on his darling either.
the other scenario is where his darling leaves with his daughter, well, that one, mm, his darling ainât getting anywhere cause no one takes knjâs daughter away from him under any circumstances.
if darling dies, he will genuinely mourn her death.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
âł oh, he did regret hitting his darling. he regretted it very much. i remember writing a few lines in relation to this in the one-shot itself but it is easy to miss.
excerpt from the first semester of the one-shot: [âŠsurprisingly, his own hands were shaking lightly as he treated your body like a porcelain statue. he cannot imagine that he actually slapped you, hurt you in a physical way to the point where you are scared of him. he is not sure anymore if he can repay for the trauma he caused you, how do you repent for something like this? it is not like he is a violent person or someone who loses their cool a lot but when it came to his baby, he just lost it somehow.]
from the hereinabove excerpt, you can deduce that he does hold some sort of remorse and regret when it comes to how he treated his darling and basically how he broke her spirit to the point where she was scared of him, that he might just hit her again if she takes one wrong step. to top it all, she was pregnant at the moment. he does not show it much but he does regret it.
lol, this reminds me of another passage from the one-shot, please bare with me.
excerpt from the second trimester of the one-shot: [some days he talks about his experiments and you listen to them quietly, even if an idea pops in your mind, you choose to stay quiet and namjoon hates that. he regrets what he has done to you, he merely wanted you closer to him but he had never given it a second thought that he might push you away from himself more. well, it is too late to think about all this, you are already pregnant and married to him.]
so, although, knj did not technically kidnap his darling but he did force her to be with him against her will and he regrets that, while in the process, he broke her. he has always loved her for individuality and he loves all the sides of her so he does regret his actions but itâs too late to whine about it.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
âł why did he imprison his darling with him in the first place? he has always been the weird, quirky geek in school whom no one paid much attention to. as he grew up, he did get more attention from ladies but no one has the same level of intelligence as you. he never fell for anyone before he met his darling and boy did he fall for her. why risk letting his darling go and not experiencing love again when he can just force her to be with him?
an excerpt from June, 2018 of the one-shot: [⊠if he was a neuroscientist, he would definitely get an MRI scan of your brain and hang it in his room as a memento. that is just how much he has come to adore you, for him, it was more than sex and he really wants to be with you. finally, after a long time, he can say that he feels that one emotion called love and he is not going to let it go.]
regarding her professional life; partly it is related to his unresolved issues with his mother being away when he was younger. he comes from a family full of academics and his mother was never warm to him, she was not cold either but more so indifferent towards her sonâs affairs. being a renowned scientist, mrs kim always gave more importance to her work than taking care of her child.
baby knj always used to notice when his friendsâ mothers used to come pick them up from school while he used to stand alone outside the main doors, waiting for his nanny. he has always felt like he did not get what he deserved and although, the mother-son duo are on far better terms now but since they never talked about this part in their lives, it is an unresolved issue which eats away at him when he thinks of his daughter growing up without a mother who would be gone prioritising her career before their daughter. hence, taking away his darlingâs right to a job and further education.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
âł definitely the father figure. would be 10/10 concerned about his darling. âlittle dove, talk to me. whatâs wrong? you are going to fall sick if you keep weeping like that.â
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
âł this is funny because i have time and again noted that professor!joon is the classic yandere xD: meets a girl, falls hopelessly in love, manipulates situations so she cannot even think of leaving him ever. i think something different than a classic yandere is that he is not into the whole worshipping thing at all. he is not out there thinking you are some goddess. he reveres you as his ideal life partner but it is all within the general limits, nothing bordering on crazy. also, he is not the jealous type.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
âł moon. his vice is, undoubtedly, his precious little daughter. he would do anything for her, go to space and bring back a piece of the actual moon for her if he has to. if his darling manipulates him using their own daughter as pawn, he would be so blinded that he would not even see it or have the slightest clue about it. ironic, given his intelligence. on another note, his darling should run as far as she can though cause when it comes to his daughter, namjoon knows no bound. he can stomach his darling escaping but moon being gone? nah, she is in for hell.
Witâs end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
âł pre-planned and intentionally? no. unintentionally and impulsively? might.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
âł worships your breasts, a bit biased towards the left one. not the type to kiss the ground you walk on, however.
not your ideal gift-giving guy but would try to help you with the chores if you are tired from taking care of his kid, although it is your job to take care of the household and his offspring but if he can see that you are having serious issues with juggling both then he would not mind stepping in to help.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
âł he is a very patient guy so he would pine forever if required to win his darling over but instead he schemed and got her pregnant!
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
âł no, knj would not break his darling. he values the individuality of his darling deeply and it is one of the things that makes him fall in love with her over and over again.
