The first time I read Carry On it was for entertainment. Now my 9yo is asking if she can read it (she’s already done w/ HP, PJO/HoO, & Magisterium). She loves sassy characters and I may have mentioned how saucy Baz is. So I’m suffering and reading this again, you know, for research purposes.
Earlier this year I read The Second Death of Locke, and proclaimed it the best book I had read all year. In this, the final month of the year of Lady Knights, I must now inform everyone reading this, that Locke has been usurped. The Everlasting is the best book I have read all year.
