Character x reader fanfics are so weird to an AegoAroace person such as myself- I like thinking about romance but hate to think about myself in a romance.

Yet here I am sitting in bed reading a Bob x Reader fanfic not even bothering to replace the reader with Yelena.

Me: Wow that was an interesting fanfic..

Also me: I hate thinking I could be worthy of Bob loving on me romantically or platonically.. G'night ✌️

Like I'm not worthy to have relations with these fictional characters, I rather think about a character having a relationship with Bob.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!

a bit late pride post for pride month but i recently realised i am bi aego-aroace (also known as aegorose), i knew i was bi from when i was in my teens but had a hard time trying to figure out why i had a hard time in relationships both romantically and segually (yes i spelt it like that im not trusting tumblr) i knew i was somewhere on the aroace spectrum but had a hard time as i loved reading and watching romantic fluffy stuff but the minuet i see the same stuff in real life i dont get the whole feeling of it or i cant stand the sight of it, same thing with fanfics, i always feel weirdly uncomfortable when i read a fanfic of my fave character kissing me but if i imagined them kissing someone else I'm fine (might be why I have so many OC's for my fav characters), that is when i found out about aego-aroace which is a not well known thing in the aroace spectrum and when i say not well known i could not for the life of me find a flag online to get, i managed to find a aego-aroace flag on etsy, to best describe a aego-aroace is from a ask i saw in here which said "aego aroace (or aegorose) culture is shipping your fave characters 24/7, drawing and making fanfics of them but cannot stand any sight of affection irl" a ask from aro-ace-culture-is
