Aeon Genesis has released a new Super Robot Wars 3 full English translation that is intended to replace the original English patch released back in 2002.
The new translation is based on improvements made during the Super Robot Wars EX fan translation, and also fixes mistranslated names, and things like fonts, chapter title displays, and more.
Super Robot Wars 3 was the first game of the series to hit the Super Famicom, and represents a stepping stone in the series’ finding its identity. It’s the first game in the series to have scenario branching paths, unit upgrades, and unit swapping; it is also a very difficult game.

Laplace no Ma aka Laplace’s Demon (Hummingbird Soft / Vic Tokai - SNES - 1995)
Laplace no Ma is a horror-themed JRPG with a Lovecraftian bent. It was originally released in 1987 for PC-88 and PC-98, and was later ported to MSX, Sharp X68000, and PC Engine CD. It also ported to the Super Famicom in 1995, though this version seems to differ a fair bit gameplay wise.
The Super Famicom version received a fan translation back in 2001, but it featured wooden-sounding dialogue, abbreviated item names, and glitched out menus, so it was far from an ideal playthrough. Thankfully years later, Aeon Genesis has released a “Version 2.0″ for the translation, completely redoing the text and fixing the previous version’s many errors.
And hey, it’s just in time for the approaching Halloween season, so check it out if a 16-bit horror RPG sounds like your kind of fun.

Fan translation group Aeon Genesis has released a new translation for the Super Robot Wars series. This time, it is for Super Robot Wars EX, which originally released on Super Famicom.
The game features Masaki Ando, Lune Zoldak, and Shu Shirakawa as the main protagonists, with each character having their own route to play through. It’s a gaiden game that takes place after 3rd Super Robot Wars and is set in the subterranean world of La Gias, home of the Elemental Lords.
If you’re familiar with the Super Robot OG series, the plot of EX has been brought into that subseries via 2nd Super Robot Wars OG, which used Masaki and Lune’s routes for the first arc of the game. Meanwhile, Shu’s route has been elaborated upon in Super Robot Wars OG: Dark Prison.

Fan translation group Aeon Genesis released an English fan translation patch for Shin Megami Tensei if… today. The translation patch is made to work with the Super Famicom version of the game.
Shin Megami Tensei if… was one of the major influences that led to the creation of the Persona series, with its well-received modern high school setting. The protagonist explores the demon-infested Karukozaka High School and five other towers based on the Seven Deadly Sins in classic SMT fashion, recruiting demons and fighting off enemies along the way. There are also multiple routes that diverge based on who you ally yourself with, which will determine what ending you get.

Shin Megami Tensei if… was released for Super Famicom, and has been ported PlayStation and PC since.
