Restarted my Aerogarden after a long slumber. The basil, dill, and chives are coming along nicely. The oregano and parsley are taking their time.

Restarted my Aerogarden after a long slumber. The basil, dill, and chives are coming along nicely. The oregano and parsley are taking their time.
Cherry tomatoes, Poblanos, Mini Peppers, and some rosemary. Because groceries are only going to get more expensive, and I have access to a garden in my backyard. I have cantaloupe, and pumpkins in damp paper towel.
got an aerogarden set up at work! we're using it to gage engagement and interest, and if it's successful, we're going to upscale!
This space was our original garden bed but when plants started failing to produce fruits we eventually we had to move to planters further out in the sunny part of the yard as tree branches filled in and shaded the area.
When i first went on a seed shopping trip after receiving my aerogarden, i bought sugarsnap peas. it was actually one of the first seeds i wanted to plant, but then i read they're difficult to grow in that capacity so i decided against it. Then a year later i found out it's a shade safe plant, so now that i have more experience using hydroponics, i tried planting peas again (front middle pod in the first photo, end of june). it was definitely one of the coolest, most satisfying sprouts to observe, and the quickest. Growing about an inch a day, by the time i had a chance to transplant it outside it was over a foot tall and needed a skewer to stay upright. The fascination didn't stop there because i like watching the vines always find a space on the fence to wrap around. By the start of august I already tasted one of the snap peas and it was delicious, tasted and smelled just like store bought, which will never stop blowing my mind tbh.

How it’s going
This little hydroponic garden has kept us supplied with fresh herbs since December. No longer will I pay $8 for fresh basil. It’s also nice to see bright green things growing. The early hatching ladybugs 🐞 also find their way to the plants.
